About this house rental
Our approximately 250-year-old, lovingly restored country house, the STEYR RIVER LODGE, is situated in a secluded, end-of-the-road location in the Stoder Valley. You’ll reach your temporary home via a private driveway that’s accessible year-round. Our philosophy is to create an oasis of peace and relaxation for you in a breathtaking setting, right in the heart of nature. Here, you can clear your mind of the stresses of everyday life.
A lovingly renovated farmhouse with every comfort. Every detail and piece of furniture has been carefully selected. Antique, high-quality softwood furniture lends the ambiance its special charm. Three wood-burning stoves provide cozy warmth, and the bathroom and kitchen feature underfloor heating. The kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a 90-cm Smeg gas stove with an electric oven and a Rancillio portafilter coffee machine.
Enjoy the beautiful garden by the river with a grill area and a 16-inch smoker. Garden furniture is provided. Tucked away along the Steyr River, you’ll find a “sundowner” platform that belongs to the house—perfect for observing nature up close: trout, otters, kingfishers, herons—the wildlife along the wild and romantic Steyr River is diverse and unspoiled.
We prioritize sustainability: Our own well provides you with wonderful spring water, the heating system consists of 3 wood-burning stoves, and the firewood comes from our own forest.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage - direkt an der Steyr - weit weg von Rummel - mitten in der Natur. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
