On the outskirts of town, right on the “Path of Silence,” lies the Taubenhof—a farm that’s perfect for large families, groups of friends, and their four-legged companions. Up to five dogs are warmly welcome here—with plenty of space to play, run around, and explore.
The view opens up the moment you step inside: From the living area, you step out onto the wooden porch, which overlooks meadows and fields. In the 1,500 m² garden, enclosed by a 1.50 m-high fence, dogs enjoy both freedom and safety, while children romp among old fruit trees.
Architecture with a Heart
Clean lines and light-colored walls form the foundation, with dove blue and gray adding subtle accents. Outside, wood siding and sheet metal meet nature; inside, Scandinavian furniture and plenty of light create a sense of airiness. An atmosphere that offers peace and warmth—for both two- and four-legged guests.

It’s especially nice that you can hike to the Jagstmühle country inn and, for example, enjoy a cup of coffee in the beer garden by the Jagst River.

WOW! Wer dieses Feriendomizil nicht bucht, ist selbst schuld. Wir waren schon in vielen Ferienhäusern, aber der Taubenhof toppt alles Bisherige. Gemütlich, funktionell, mit einer großzügigen Raumaufteilung und allem, was dazugehört. Top ausgestattet, fühlten wir (sechs Erwachsene und Hund Lotta) uns vom ersten Moment an wohl in dieser großartigen Unterkunft. Es fehlt an nichts - von der Fliegenklatsche bis zum Zahnstocher ist alles vorhanden. Die Vermieterin ist die Herzlichkeit in Person und an Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit kaum zu überbieten. Den Empfang versüßte uns ein leckerer selbstgebackener Streuselkuchen - einfach zum Reinlegen. Genauso die fast unzähligen Schlafmöglichkeiten im Taubenhof. Die bequemen Betten laden zum Langschlafen ein - aus den Federn gelockt hat uns dann doch die Aussicht auf einige Saunagänge. Auch diesbezüglich fehlt es an nichts - von bequemen Saunaliegen über noch bequemere Gartenliegen, Tische und Stühle an den richtigen Plätzen auf dem riesiegen Gelände. Eine überaus sympathische Physiotherapeutin, die sogar ins Haus kam und uns mit Zauberhänden und viel Einfühlungsvermögen verwöhnte, rundeten unseren Kurzurlaub perfekt ab. Natürlich spielte das Wetter eine Rolle, wer kann schon am 31. Oktober bei herrlichstem Sonnenschein draußen frühstücken! Aber wir hätten uns auch bei Schmuddelwetter wie Zuhause gefühlt. Fazit: Fünf Sterne von fünf für den Taubenhof UND seine Besitzer. Tausend Dank, wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. Fast hätten wir es sogar bedauert, dass uns unsere Enkelkinder (diesmal) nicht begleitet haben, sie hätten das liebevoll gestaltete Spielzimmer geliebt. Beim nächsten Mal sind sie ganz sicher dabei!
Diese Unterkunft hat es verdient, sie jedem weiterzuempfehlen, dem man Gutes tun möchte. Einfach ausgedrückt: Wem es hier nicht gefällt, dem ist nicht zu helfen :-)

Wir waren zu fünft (2 Erwachsene, 2 Teenies, ein Hund) im August eine knappe Woche im Taubenhof.
Der Taubenhof ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat einen riesigen umzäunten Garten, der das Herz unserer Hündin hat höher schlagen lassen. Der Blick vom Garten und aus fast allen Zimmern in die Weite der angrenzenden Felder ist sehr schön und entspannend. Wer sich in der Küche austoben möchte, dem wird es an nichts fehlen. Es ist wirklich alles da.
Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan, sind sehr herzlich und unaufdringlich. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl und freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal.

Wir verbrachten im Taubenhof schon mehrere wunderbare Familienurlaube. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist traumhaft und das Objekt liebevoll ausgestattet. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank! :-)

Wir waren zu 9. im Taubenhof und es hat allen sehr gut gefallen. Das Ferienhaus ist super ausgestattet und Frau Goll ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Selbst als schon Panik aufkam ;) weil die mitgebrachten Espressokannen nicht mit dem Induktionsherd kompatibel waren, hatte Frau Goll eine Lösung parat.Trotz vorheriger Hitze, war es im Haus angenehm kühl.Wir können das Baden in der Jagst und ein Essen im Landgasthof Jagstmühle sehr empfehlen.
