The property was lovely! The bottle of wine and coffee the property manager left was a nice surprise. They allowed me to check in a couple of hours early, too!
I highly recommend this property and property management!

The house was a perfect location. You absolutely don’t need a car! They were extremely accommodating with our service animal and our infant. I would absolutely stay here again!

We loved staying in the cute and clean home. So nice to be able to walk downtown to restaurants and cafes and very convenient to drive to other activities in Bend. We’d stay here again for our next visit!

The property sits on a corner, surrounded by beautiful trees. Sitting outside enjoying our coffee in the morning was just so peaceful and relaxing! It was so easy to walk to the downtown area to eat and shop. The inside was clean but the floors were a bit dirty. We found a couple of dirty dishes also. Overall this was a great place to stay!! I would definitely stay here again.

This is our second time visiting this cottage and similar to the first, it was a fantastic stay. The beds are comfortable and the home is clean - the location to downtown can't be beat, and we walk everywhere.
It's a 30 minute drive to the mountain and great coffee and a nice grocery store are within walking distance if you don't feel like driving (or a 2 minute drive if you do).
My only gripes are very small ones but would make a difference in the overall experience; the television in the living area is comically small and the dining room furniture and stools to the kitchen are very rickety and worse for wear. They could use a replacement. I do wish there were a second bathroom, especially when staying with more than two people - but aside from that it's a perfect place to stay when visiting Bend or Mt Bachelor. The management company and owner are extremely responsive, kind, and accommodating.
Highly recommend to anyone considering a trip to Bend, I'm sure we'll be back again!

A lovely property to have as a home base while taking in Bend for the first time. Perfect location and welcoming, well-kept little house. Loved it :)

We would not stay here again. While the location is absolutely fantastic, there are a few cons:
1. The unit above is also a vacation rental. You can hear voices, television, whistling, footsteps, etc., of the guests above. Because the guests above are not the owners, they have no incentive to keep noise down compared to a rental unit owner that lives above the unit.
2. We killed over a dozen dime-to-quarter size spiders in the bathroom throughout our stay, including multiple in the shower and crawling in our hanging bath towels. The operator stated that an exterminator was going to come by after our stay to deal with this.
3. The unit is dark, not light and bright, compared to other daylight basement rentals we have experienced across the PNW.
4. The table under the TV is on wheels that do not lock, so it slides around and is not comfortable to sit at. We were working remotely while here and were not comfortable.
5. There is a small window AC unit that did work well to cool down the unit while we were there, but there were large half-inch gaps on each side of the unit open to the outside. This may have been a source of the spiders getting in, but it was also an issue due to the wildfire smoke. We ended up stuffing towels into the sides to try and keep the unit from smelling too much like a campfire.
6. The complimentary bottle of wine is nice, but there's only a single wine glass, despite reviews calling this out over a year ago.
7. Both soap dispensers in the kitchen and the bathroom appear to have had water mixed in to the remaining soap, presumably to save on costs.

It wasn't clear that we were staying in the basement at first but the location was primo! It was a hot week in Bend and while there is air conditioning in the unit, its a small box AC so it was working pretty hard to keep the place cool. The space had everything we needed except ear plugs. The Unit directly above us in the main house sounded like water buffalos stomping around until midnight and then started up again at 7am. It seriously sounded like they were just picking things up and dropping them constantly. Wouldn't stay at this property again because of that.

This cute place was perfect for my son and mean our five day stay. It was a great location and so close to downtown when we just want to grab a quick breakfast or walk the river. The place itself was very clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed. I would come back and stay here again.

A cozy basement studio apartment in downtown Bend.
A cozy basement studio in excellent location. Very close to downtown Bend and the Old Mill district. The studio was clean and had all the amenities for a pleasant stay. The mattress was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped to prepare a meal. I have a few small suggestions for the owners: two wine glasses would be welcomed, the dining table is not comfy for a tall person (but I loved the look of it) and the description should indicate that the studio is located under another rental apartment (it was not an issue for us as the apartment above was not occupied, but it could be an issue, especially for folks who are light sleepers). Given our pleasant experience, we would recommend this cozy studio.

Perfect for a conference visite
The place being in the basement it's pretty dark but as we were most of the time at the conference it didn't matter at all and the amenities were perfect for what we needed. The location is only an 8-minute walk to the main center where everything was happening so it made our early morning start much enjoyable.

Enjoyed our stay in this nicely decorated studio. Everything we needed for our 3 night stay was available for us.

We’ve stayed at both the cottage and the studio now and love them both. Studio is awesome for 2, cottage just a tad bigger with the xtra bedroom. Location is great

Convenient location to down town bend
The studio is small but was adequate for the two of us. The unit was adequately equipped in kitchen and bathroom. It was fairly priced. The only problem we had was we could not get the Netflix to load up and work. Since there is not cable TV we had no TV service. I mentioned this to the owners, but should have contacted Linda sooner. We kept trying to get it working assuming it was us not being able to get it done. So I would recommend any new tenant to contact Linda immediately if you cannot get it working. Except for that "hiccup", the unit was good and we enjoyed our time in Bend

Great location and great convenience.
The Studio is perfect for a couple who are ready to explore downtown, the river parks, and the outer Mill District scene.

Location, location, location
This was the second time we have rented this property. It was great both times. The location is perfect .... almost exactly halfway between Old Mill and downtown. The size is great for a couple. We’ll be back!!!

Great little apartment in super convenient location for Bend exploring.
This apartment was all we needed for this trip. It certainly had more to offer than any hotel room we could've rented for significantly more money. The bed wasn't very comfortable and if others rented out the upstairs unit, their footsteps were pretty loud on the ceiling (especially if they had littles that liked to run around). Other than that we were very pleased with this studio and will most likely book it again for any future trips to Bend!

Wonderful location!
This property is great for two people. It’s just a studio, but it’s close to so many great things to do, you won’t spend much time there. The property is clean and has everything you need. The owner responds quickly and was great to work with. We will come back!

Perfect spot for walking to downtown and Drake Park
This was a terrific spot for one person or a coupe looking to explore Bend. The basement studio was just about perfect. The only negative I could see was that there was limited storage for clothes. Otherwise perfect and 5 minute walk to downtown.

Perfect Location
Nice location within easy walking distance of downtown Bend and the Owners are responsive to all communications. As someone who travels to Bend frequently I would definitely stay again if the property is available.
