Great hosts! Great location! Great property!!
Everything was wonderful. Only areas of improvement I can think of was the internet tv was way too slow to work but we didn’t need it. One of the bed mattresses was pretty soft and we kind of sagged to the middle.

No food store nearby.

It was beautifully decorated and you could tell that they put their heart and soul into redoing the place. It was stocked well and was very comfortable.
The location was awesome!
Randell was very friendly and very helpful!!
We loved it so much that we decided to stay another day!

The property is amazing. It is a cozy, while spacious. It offers modern en-suite facilities for each bedroom. The kitchen has all the amenities and I wish we could have stayed longer. Parking was easy and Wi-Fi excellent. There is a small well-stocked convenient store around the corner and two restaurants right next to the property. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
There was nothing not to like!

Love the layout of the house. Loved that they recycled things from previous home.
Spiral staircase is horrible. Someone could fall trying to get luggage up it. The outdoor ceiling fan needs to be replaced. Wobbles so much you turn it off. Lamp in bedroom near entrance door missing a light. Porch needs a fan on it’s side like the other.

They did a fantastic job restoring this historic property. It has character and charm and the location is excellent. It’s also located right next to a great new restaurant called Southbound. The area was safe and there was parking on the property that was included
Nothing!

Such a lovely little "apartment". Everything I needed.
Those spiral stairs were a challenge with luggage. And a restaurant kitchen on the other side of my bathroom was most disconcerting. Would have liked to have known that ahead of time. Might not have changed my mind about staying here but would not have been so surprised to hear voices on Monday morning.

I felt like I was home. It was not cramped and it was very comfortable. From the time I booked, someone was in contact with me. Morgan met us at the property when we arrived and was very welcoming. You could just feel the love that went into bringing this property back to life. The street was not loud and congested as it would have been if the property were closer to King Street, especially at night or early morning on the front porch.
Nothing. It was a wonderful property. Parking was tight but I anticipated street parking or parking in a garage so I was pleasantly surprised that there was parking on site.

Location
Parking. The other family there were rude and took up more space than needed for their Porsche after they complained we were taking up space.

Charming, yet spacious apartment. Nestled away, yet close to everything we needed/wanted (restaurants, sightseeing, shopping). Well-kept and clean. Very hospitable staff. Will be back.
Apartment above us was noisy with normal walking and living activity.

The design is so cool. The kitchenette was so well designed and the interior details of the room were fabulous.
We loved everything.

There was no breakfast. The decor was nice. I loved the kitchen.
Parking was not great. I spent $1081 for 2 nights. I should be able to park without any issues for that price.

The location of the Charlestonian was good, close to the historical district.
This property was listed as "Garden View". First if there was a Garden it would have not been possible to view it from an underground, basement apartment. There was no Garden close to the apartment. The pictures of the facility showed a large white house at 68 Cannon Street. It was certainly there, but our "garden view" was actually at 70 1/2 Cannon Street in a basement apartment. The listing pictures never showed the fact the apartment was in a basement accessed by a narrow trail and narrow steep stairs. The stairs accessed the listed "Outdoor Terrace or Outdoor Dining Area." It was completely underground with barred slots for viewing the grass on three sides. Once you entered the apartment you felt like you were in a basement, with bare concrete floors, (except for the rugs randomly placed around the apartment) and very little outside light from the windows that were in window wells. The apartment was not at all like the one shown in the pictures (bright and airy). It is amazing what a professional photographer can do to make the place look bright. Still no Garden or Garden view. We did not spend a lot of time in the apartment since it was not comfortable. The humidity was reminiscent of living in a damp basement. We did not spend any time on the Outdoor Terrance (Terrace redefined) or Outdoor Dining area. The kitchen living room was set up so you no useable space for dining either. The bar/counter was so close to the couch that one person at a time could sit on the one of the two large stools.
We were told that we were to have one parking spot with additional parking across the street. The only parking was across the street, a very busy street where it was impossible to drag or roll your luggage through the gravel used to pave the lot. Again not as shown or explained in the listing.
If I would have know or had any indication this was an apartment in a basement or below ground, I would never have rented this property.

Incredible house in the center of the old town.
Clean and beautiful interior decorated delightfully with a rare taste of style and luxe. Welcoming was very friendly and helpful. We spent a beautiful moment in this historic house, and have just regret not to stay a little bit longer. Feeling like being at home. Thanks again to George & Morgan.
Nothing to say. Everything was perfect.

Loved the location and the apartment itself- especially all the windows and brightness. And the nice bathroom.
We had no internet and could not even make a phone call through Verizon.

The location was very walkable; great restaurants all around. The house itself is sooo perfect since there are as many full bathrooms as bedrooms and the bedrooms are a nice size (at least two of them had to hold pack n plays!). Living room is on the smaller side but still enough space for six. Great kitchen amenities too. Morgan couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.
Everything was great but as a general suggestion, would be great to have a couple more stools at the kitchen bar.

The three bedroom, two bath unit was in a beautifully restored home. It had a small but complete kitchen, comfortable living space, and comfy beds. We loved the front porch where we frequently sat for our morning coffee and tea, usually reading one of the coffee table books about Charleston that came with the unit. Our host met us to welcome us and offered plenty of suggestions of things to do in the area. The unit came with one parking space, it's a close walk to King Street, and within walking distance of a few good restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!
While not a "negative", the only means to access our second floor unit was an exterior spiral staircase. For anyone with mobility issues, choosing a first floor unit may ease coming and going. (One member of our group has had a knee replacement and uses a cane for walking, so those spiral stairs took some time to navigate each trip). If you don't have that as an issue, then the stairs are fine.

restaurant was loud when closing up and cleaning up at 11:30pm so woke us. only issue

Cute decor, Wi-Fi was fine
Parking needed to remove cones from driveway to enter and then replace. Water was never hot, very cramped in all facets. Furniture in outside porch was dusty (assume from local construction).

The house is beautiful and it’s a quick walk to King Street. It’s very easy to walk all over downtown Charleston from here. The apartment is really nicely decorated with comfortable beds and living area. There are sofas in the back with a pergola and in the front of the porch that are nice to hang out too. Morgan was really flexible and accommodating!
The faucet for the sink is high and splashes which was really just a minor inconvenience.
