Nestled in Edinburgh, this charming condo for $435 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Self contained flat spread over two floors, a warm & welcoming home from home. Steps lead down from street level to the front door of this self contained basement/garden flat. In an exclusive area of New Town, in the heart of Stockbridge, with the Botanical Gardens, Inverleith Park, Dean Village, the Waters of Leith & Princes Street all within easy walking distance. Sunday sees the Stockbridge market arrive with a feast of street food & local produce stalls. There is no shortage of vintage shops, and unique boutiques for that bespoke gift. There are restaurants & cafes to suit all tastes, with plenty of choice for vegans & people who are intolerant to certain ingredients. Also a great selection of bars that suit all tastes. Close by there is designer shopping in the exclusive Multrees Walk, St. James Quarter and St Andrews Square area. Not far from here is the Playhouse Theatre & the Omni Theatre, with cinema & plenty of eateries. Down the road from there is the Broughton Road area, again with a great selection of restaurants, giftshops, bars & bistros. It would take on average 10 to 15 minutes to walk up to Princes Street, however, if preferred there is a bus-stop right around the corner. The tram-stop is approx. 10 to 15 minutes walk away. There is a great mix of hustle & bustle, yet greenery & nature right on our doorstep. Beautiful areas suitable for leisurely strolls or picturesque jogs around Dean Village, the Waters of Leith and the fantastic Inverleith Park which has an alternative viewpoint of the castle. Unusually for Edinburgh city flats, there is a private front courtyard & a private back garden, exclusive to this property. Steps lead from the back door to the back garden. There are two bedrooms, one double & one with twin beds. There is a beautiful freestanding bath & sink in the double bedroom which is downstairs. Additionally there is a separate shower room with toilet & a separate WC. Just what you need if there are a few staying over! I like to think I have catered well for my guests, other than what is normally expected I supply: 1 hairdryer 1 pair of hair straighteners Shampoo Shower Gel Conditioner Hand & Body lotion Tea Coffee Sugar Porridge Dried spices Salt Black pepper Oil A highchair & travel cot is available for infants on request. There is a bluetooth speaker & plenty of USB Sockets so no heavy plugs to take with you, just the wires. There is WIFI throughout, plus a WIFI booster, and a Smart TV which will allow you to access Netflix, Prime etc.

This was the perfect spot for our family of 4 adults on holiday! Common areas big enough for games and eating in. We appreciated the variety and convenience of options in the neighborhood, with reasonable walking distance to sites in other parts of the city. Highly recommend!

Lovely homebase to explore beautiful, walkable Edinburgh. Dana was very responsive with any questions. Home is cozy as advertised. We did laundry and used the line in the garden to dry our clothes.

It was a great location and not too far to walk to restaurants. You will have to walk down stairs to get in the unit, so if you have mobility issues, please be aware.

We had an excellent time in Dana's flat in Stockbridge. Dana was a fantastic host and responded very quickly...she helped us almost immediately when we accidentally locked the keys inside. The area is amazing...lots of shops, pubs and restaurants close by, yet walkable to the busier downtown Edinburgh (Princes St and Royal Mile). The kitchen was nicely stocked and the back garden was beautiful. Just know that the master bedroom is in the lower level, and there is no toilet on that level, just a tub and sink in the room. We were a family of four and would definitely stay again.

Very convenient, and well appointed. I'd stay there again for sure. Stockbridge is a perfect quiet and cozy spot in busy Edinburgh, and the property basically sits on a bus line-- couldn't be easier!

Check in was easy. The property is modern, well equipped and in a great location. The double bed downstairs is so comfortable and cosy especially with the very cold nights when we stayed. I would have preferred a downstairs toilet as I sometimes have to get up during the night, but for 2 nights I managed. The property is very close to bars, cafes, shops and restaurants if you fancy a change from the hustle and bustle of Princes Street, George street and Rose Street. The host is very accommodating and is only a phone call away if any issues. We come to Edinburgh every year for the Christmas market and we had an excellent stay.

We arrived midafternoon and walked from the train station to Dana’s flat (approximately 1 mile). We were able to enter the flat easily utilizing instructions. The flat is a warm and welcoming. The bathrooms were clean, though please note, there is only one shower. The downstairs bathroom has a tub (no shower) and sink but no toilet . Both toilets are on the main floor of the flat. The kitchen and living room have views of a lovely garden. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding neighborhood and also venturing into Old Town. People in Scotland are so kind and very helpful. We would stay at Dana’s flat again upon our return to Glasgow.

Big panic when we went back to get our bags. Cleaners or plumber locked all three locks and we struggled to get in to get our bags! So nice we could leave bags. We didn’t cook but could have as it was well-equipped. No toilet in basement but I managed at night. Nice and clean. Great restaurants.

Loved staying in this lovely flat in a great neighborhood. It was immaculate and had everything we needed. We did have a few issues with the appliances, but Dana was lovely and is likely taking care of everything for her next guests! We enjoyed our visit!

We had a lovely stay at this property Which is located in a lovely leafy area of the New Town Conmunication with the host Dana was good The property is in a beautiful Georgian town house,furnished nicely and well equipped The bonus really is the lovely walled garden that you can use especially at this time of year we sat and ate our breakfasts outside every day There are a few stone steps to consider at the property and on road parking is expensive so may need to look at alternative or just factor that into the cost of your stay but overall would highly recommend this property and the Beautiful city of Edinburgh that we all loved

Absolutely Beautiful! Well decorated and stocked with all you need! Is in the perfect location, the neighborhood is full of shops, cafes and restaurants, but quiet! This was our first time in Edinburgh. The flat was an ideal home base. It was helpful to be able to spread out a bit on two levels, plus having two bathrooms was ideal. The flat contained everything we needed and the host was always prompt about answering my questions. We hope to go back someday!

My family loved this Stockbridge flat. Walking distance to everything you want to explore but in a quiet neighbourhood with walking paths along the river. Bed were cozy and backyard courtyard was charming. Highly recommend!

We had a great time in Stockbridge. It was hard to leave the neighborhood to see other sites. We enjoyed a full day of sightseeing in the Old Town and were happy to relax at the flat. Dinner at Scan & Scallie was delicious. The close proximity to the Royal Botanical Gardens was great. Our family of four enjoyed it very much.

Everything about both the property and it’s amenities made our stay great. The inside is decorated and furnished to a high standard and is extremely well equipped. The location is brilliant which made getting out and about really easy but is also situated in a residential crescent giving the comfort of a more peaceful location to sleep. Dana was also great to deal with and super helpful. Highly recommend.
