About this villa rental
Villa Tornavento is a new, contemporary, stone-built private villa in Cortona, Tuscany, recently constructed on the foundations of a 12th-century house.
Its roots are ancient, but “modern” is the keyword, and we expressed this through white wooden ceilings and antique terracotta floors. Minimalist luxury is the philosophy that inspired us to ensure the perfect balance between authentic Tuscan living and a truly relaxing experience. We named the house Tornavento in honor of the fresh, light breeze that sweeps through the house in summer and caresses the green tops of the olive trees. The villa commands a view of its grounds, and from it you can always see the olive trees dancing in the gentle breeze and enjoy the sound it makes.
Tornavento features a stunning marble pool, a modern kitchen, two spacious living rooms, and five double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. We carefully selected contemporary art pieces to enrich the house with vibrant colors. Amenities such as TV and Wi-Fi will make your stay even more enjoyable. The pool is simply a stunning architectural masterpiece: the marble and its colors blend seamlessly with the surrounding nature. It is situated next to the house and offers the same view of Cortona, enhanced by the infinity pool.
The olive grove surrounding the house offers more than ten thousand opportunities for private immersion in nature. We love this house because it sits in a wonderful, secluded spot that offers a unique view of Cortona and the Valdichiana Valley. On clear days, the view extends even further to Lake Trasimeno. You’ll be able to see and explore our beautiful region between Valdorcia and Valdichiana.
