About this house rental
Our detached, very well-maintained vacation home is located in an idyllic, rural setting right on the edge of the forest. It can accommodate up to 18 people—you can enjoy your privacy to the fullest. Our family-friendly home is available to you along with a fenced-in property of approximately 1,600 m². Directly above the house is the “Aventura” play and climbing hill—Europe’s longest playground structure—and Center Park Hochsauerland.
The house serves as an ideal starting point for outdoor adventures, including hikes, bike tours, winter sports, Nordic walking, and more.
From the house, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Medebach and the Sauerland countryside!
The house not only offers plenty of space and comfort across 280 m² spread over 3 floors, but also features a heated outdoor pool (May through September), a large garden with fruit trees, a barbecue area with a spacious garden shed, and playground equipment (slide, swing, table tennis, etc.)
On the first floor is the spacious living/dining room (approx. 65 m²) with access to the outdoor terrace. The room offers several seating areas, an LCD TV, and a cabinet with board games for all ages.
The large dining table seats up to 18 people.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you could need, including a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, ceramic cooktop with oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle.
The house features a total of 3 attractive bathrooms with a total of 3 showers, 3 toilets, and 5 sinks.
The vacation home is stylishly furnished with great attention to detail—8 bedrooms (4 rooms for 2 people, 3 rooms for 3 people, and one single room)
These fees are mandatory and must be paid on site. They are not included in the rental price.:
Bedding; rental available for €7 per person per stay
Towels; rental available for €5 per person per stay
Dish towels; rental available for €6 per stay

The property was the perfect size for 18 of us. 15 min to winterberg where we skiied each day thanks to the amazing snow making facilities. There was plenty of space for us all to eat and hang out together and dry our stuff.
Good extras for the kids and the table tennis was good to have too. The description doesn't explain that there are actually double shower cubicles on the 1st and ground floor and another one the top floor as well as a double sink room. So 5 showers, 4 toilets and 7 sinks!!!
Bedding was extra, which we didn't realise till we were packing but Sandy provided it at €7 per set. We had to make up the beds ourselves.
Plenty of crockery and plates and big saucepans, only complaint was the oven was very slow when cooking lots of items, so just over estimate timings.
The play area up the road is amazing.
Good time had by all.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Medebach sehr genossen. Für unsere Gruppe von 8 Leuten + zwei Hunden war das Haus eigentlich zu groß, aber dafür hatten wir keinen Stress mit zuwenig Badräumen. Man kann vom Haus aus direkt schöne Wanderungen machen und ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch in der Nähe.
