We have stayed at this house in the past and really enjoy the home and its location. Perfect spot to relax on the deck and enjoy the sun and surf. This house feels more like a home and NOT a rental. We love it there and will be back again.

We really enjoyed this house and location. The beach is so close, and the house itself is lovely. We appreciated the generosity of the hosts in terms of providing beach towels, beach toys, and even house toys and puzzles for their guests to use while staying (our kids were thrilled to get to play with some different Crocodile Creek puzzles). We were also so grateful that the hosts were quick to respond when we had slight issues with the temperature control. The kitchen is well equipped, the neighborhood quiet, the beach beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful time!

From the moment the door opens to the gulf view to the end of our stay we were all so accommodated with nothing left wanting! I recommend this home for its close beach access and fantastic views. A well appropriated kitchen with views from every room, one never felt separated from the the coast. We all appreciated the storm windows with the electric controls that made a deep sleep so restful!

Very enjoyable week. We found everything as represented in the listing. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of place settings for whole family. The beach is beautiful and very peaceful. Loved the proximity to shopping on the Strand and restaurants.

We had the best stay at this beautiful beach house! It was perfect for 2 small families that included elementary aged children and toddlers. The back deck was our favorite part of the property, we loved eating dinner out there with the nice breeze and sound of the waves! The very short walk to the beach was exactly what we were looking for to spend time playing and making memories with our children. We were all very comfortable and had plenty of space for 10 of us. The extra perks like the lovely welcome bag, sand toys and beach towels to use while we stayed there, a grill and outdoor shower all added to our wonderful experience. Hope to stay here again, highly recommend this gem!

The views inside and outside the home we’re amazing. Lots of shade and plenty of seating outside and room for breakfast on the deck. The kitchen was well stocked for meal prep for our family. The ice maker was a perfect addition. My favorite house In Galveston so far after 20 years of renting there.

Every bathroom was supplied with q-tips, shampoo/conditioner, soap, and toilet paper. The views from every room were spectacular and the private balcony from the master bedroom presented a unique opportunity for my wife and I to enjoy the ocean view at night without disturbing the kiddos. Plenty of games, books, and movies to keep you occupied on rainy days and super easy access to the beach (no golf cart required). The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating even allowing us to bring our dog. Very clean and well maintained with everything you need to cook (including a grill allowed to patrons). 10/10 highly recommend, we will definitely be booking this fantastic home again!

We have stayed several times on Galveston Beach. This is the best VRBO and location! The view, the deck, proximity to ocean, beachy decor, quick response from Owner,...everything was amazing! We are already planning our next vacation here next year!!

MerSea is a lovely home in a perfect location…just a two minute walk to a seashell-covered beach and a short drive to a well-stocked convenience store. We loved the deck and the views. Enjoyed some stunningly colorful sunsets with a glass of wine! MerSea was well- appointed with a tasteful beachy decor, yet very comfortable. In particular, nice touches included a fantastic welcome basket filled with wine, yummy chocolates, coffee and sweet-scented Italian soap, an assortment of great books, phone chargers in many of the rooms and the kitchen ice maker. There were a couple days/nights when the temperature in the home grew quite chilly, but we are from Idaho and brought extra blankets. 😊 We appreciated Patrick and Domitille’s responsiveness when our dog hurt her front leg. They were quick to offer a veterinarian recommendation. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back to search for an elusive shark’s tooth on the beach!

We had a wonderful stay! I loved being close to the beach and the views were fantastic! My littles loved the stock of children's books and beach toys. We had plenty of space for a great family adventure and everything we needed to make fond memories! Couldn't ask for more! Such a beautiful place!
