If I could give Borgo Di Pietrafitta Relais 11 out of 10, I absolutely would! This was an extraordinary experience and unquestionably one of the highlights of our entire month travelling through Italy.
The property itself is magnificent. Beautifully maintained, luxurious, wonderfully comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, with breathtaking views across the Tuscan countryside. The grounds and swimming pool were absolutely stunning, and the history and story of the estate added a wonderful depth and character to the experience.
Breakfast was exceptional, with a fantastic offering that made every morning something to look forward to. But what truly elevated our stay was the staff. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt incredibly well looked after throughout our three nights.
As enthusiastic wine lovers, the estate's wine tour and tasting were particular highlights. The experience was already excellent, but Andrea, the winemaker, went above and beyond by treating us to an additional tour and tasting directly from the barrels. It was a fascinating, personal and genuinely memorable experience that gave us an even greater appreciation of the estate, its wines and the people behind them.
The location near Castellina in Chianti was also perfect for exploring Tuscany, while the beauty and tranquillity of the estate made it equally tempting to spend the entire day simply enjoying the property.
This is so much more than beautiful accommodation. It's a complete Tuscan experience, combining luxury, history, exceptional wine, breathtaking scenery and truly remarkable hospitality.
We absolutely loved every moment and would return in a heartbeat. An exceptional property with exceptional people. A genuine 11/10 experience!
Absolutely nothing. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! Everything from the accommodation and facilities to the food, wine, location and wonderful staff exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic location on the hill with the view overlooking Chianti region and far out to plains and mountains. Beautiful buildings, swimming pool and grill station with a view.
Shower in our apartment was very weak.

Was a very special stay. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. So lovely to sit by the pool and watch the sunset with a glass of Chianti wine made on the property.

picturesque , good location
very poor breakfast offerings. we have been in several locations all over Italy and this was by far the most unappetizing. Didn’t like the fact that you could purchase something to drink or a snack anywhere on the property that was very inconvenient
