Our building features 3 studio apartments of approximately 40 square meters, each accommodating up to 4 people, with a double bed and a 140x180 cm sofa bed, a private bathroom with a shower, and a small kitchenette with a table and chairs. All offer magnificent views of the mountains and the valley below. They are located inside the building that also houses the “Foresteria Vecchiascuola” (double rooms, bookable through another listing, “Vecchiascuola ROOMS”), situated in Pianazzola, a scenic, entirely pedestrian-only hamlet of Chiavenna at 635 meters above sea level.
To reach us, take the 5-km winding road from the center of Chiavenna (a 10-minute drive or a 1-hour uphill walk) to the free municipal parking lot, then walk 300 meters through the historic, entirely pedestrian village with its narrow cobblestone streets.
On the first floor of our house, on the valley side with a panoramic terrace, there’s also a small restaurant called LASSù, where you can enjoy both breakfast and main meals—reservations required at +39 351 4037717.
Sotto On the restaurant’s terrace, we also have a lovely garden where you can relax and enjoy the view of the mountains and the valley below.
Given our unique location, we are not suitable for people with limited mobility.
