The detached and tastefully furnished 4½-room house “Casa Lago” is located in a quiet and sunny spot at the end of a cul-de-sac above Germignaga, about 2 km from the historic town center with its restaurants and shops, the sandy beach, and the lakeside promenade of Germignaga. About 5 km away is the town of Luino with its famous Wednesday market, from where you can wonderfully explore the lake by boat. The charming hinterland beckons with its picturesque little villages, where you can still get a sense of the area’s traditional way of life.
In total, this attractive house has a living area of approximately 150 m² and sits on a lot of approximately 800 m². The magnificent outdoor area consists of an approx. 30 m² partially covered terrace, a sun garden, a partially covered balcony, and an approx. 25 m² rooftop terrace. The highlight is the 4 m x 8 m pool (depth 1.50 m) with a pool enclosure and four lounge chairs. Depending on the weather, the pool is open from early May through early October. When the pool enclosure is closed (at night), the pool maintains its temperature and typically reaches a temperature of approximately 26° Celsius. Around the house, there are several lovely seating areas by the pool, up on the terrace, and also on the roof of the “Cantina” in front of the kitchen window. This rooftop terrace is accessible from the front door. This means there are plenty of places to retreat to, and you’ll always find spots in the sun or shade, depending on your preference. The property is landscaped with palm trees, oleander, hibiscus, azaleas, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, and other beautiful shrubs and is maintained once a week by the gardener—including pool maintenance.
