Hotel Albert 1er felt like a warm blanket. What a wonderful welcome! For example, the reserved parking space was already equipped with a nameplate. "How big is your car? Then we will take that into account".
The hotel rooms are fully equipped, quiet air conditioning, good bed perfectly made, very clean, great shower!
And then the breakfast... Held in the breakfast room or in the intimate outdoor terrace. A delicious breakfast with warm croissants, bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc. For a compact hotel very well looked after, I know from experience. But it is mainly the warm appearance of the staff who did everything to make you feel comfortable.
Are there no negative points then? Well, the hotel is a classic building and a bit noisy when people enter their room. The location is perfect relative to the center and the beaches of Cannes. Going down is fine, but going back up the hill was quite a challenge, even for my e-bike. But oh well, the car or a taxi solves that perfectly.
Thank you all.

Lovely pristine little hotel with pretty views from my room. Very nice helpful staff
A good walk to any facilities ( very uphill on the way back) . I like a bath so a shower wasn’t ideal.

Very helpful and pleasant staff, clean and nicely furnished room with a good sized bathroom and shower. Good location near the attractions and restaurants.
Our room felt cramped, double bed was small and the air conditioning was not the best. I was a bit cross to discover that the little bottle of water in the fridge (which is normally complimentary in most hotels) was chargeable.
