About this apartment rental
This high-quality, stylishly furnished vacation rental is located in the Kneipp spa town of Bad Tabarz, in the heart of the Thuringian Forest, right on the banks of the Laucha River. Extensive forest bathing and hiking through picturesque gorges and dense forests provide a truly restorative experience. But Bad Tabarz also offers excellent opportunities for active vacationers. The area surrounding the Großer Inselsberg (916.5 m) is among the most beautiful and exciting hiking regions in the Thuringian Forest. The cliffs above the Lauchagrund are also a major rock-climbing area. Nearby runs the Rennsteig, Germany’s most famous high-altitude hiking trail, which not only attracts many hikers in the summer but is also ideal for skiing in the winter. The “Summit and Viewpoint Tour,” a loop trail that begins and ends in Bad Tabarz, was also voted Germany’s most beautiful day hike in 2022.
The apartment is located directly next to the Arenarisquelle Kneipp spa. The soothing sound of the flowing Laucha River and the direct view from the balcony onto the spa’s pond are further highlights.
The light-filled apartment features a spacious living/dining area with an open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired (Bora cooktop with integrated range hood, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, slicer, and egg cooker). The dining table is extendable and offers plenty of space.
Cozy candlelit evenings with a blanket on the leather sofa, culinary delights paired with a good wine, or exciting entertainment on the 55-inch TV with satellite reception and a DVD player offer a variety of options.
DSL and landline connections are available. Wi-Fi is at your disposal.
The two bedrooms offer a high level of comfort and are equipped with remote-controlled blinds. The property’s unique location offers the opportunity for restful, quiet, and undisturbed sleep, even with the windows open. Upon request, a crib with a comfortable mattress is available for young guests up to 3 years old.
The bathroom offers comfort with underfloor heating, a shower/tub combination, a sink, a large illuminated mirror cabinet, and a hair dryer. Especially after a walk in the woods or a hike on the directly adjacent, well-marked trails, a relaxing soak in the tub is pure bliss.
In addition to the entryway with a coat rack and mirror at the entrance to the apartment, there is an utility room equipped with a sink, washing machine, condenser dryer, clothes rack, ironing board, and a cordless iron.
A high chair and a stereo system with radio, Bluetooth, and an USB port round out the amenities of your vacation apartment at Villa Grün.
The apartment features hardwood floors and underfloor heating. A free parking space for one car is available. There is a storage area for bicycles, and a lockable basement storage room is available. A folding bike is provided for short trips to the bakery or local shops.
Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or anywhere in the building.

Excellent equipped and clean apartment close to many sight seeing places. If you love hiking, MTB, langlauf or just enjoying the quietness of a forest, this is the place to be since it is all around the appartement in Bad Tabarz. The host is quick in response and offered tickets which allowed free entry in the swimming pool and/or discount on many musea in the surrounding places. We had a great week.

Wir waren eine Woche in dieser wunderschön eingerichteten und sehr sauberen Wohnung. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich.

Eine schöne neue Ferienwohnung am Rande des Lauchagrunds-ideal für Ausflüge oder auch noch für einen abendlichen Spaziergang in den Wald.
Sehr schön,daß die Kneippanlage fast direkt vor der Haustür ist.
In der Wohnung ist alles, was man braucht, auch Getränke standen bei der Ankunft bereit.
Sehr netter, unkomplizierter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter.
