Situated in Mountain View, this lovely house for $191 per night is a great choice for your next break. Our newly built barn can be perfect for a relaxing getaway in the Ozarks. This one bedroom with loft, one bathroom cabin can sleep 5. One queen bed downstairs and a queen and twin upstairs in the loft. The couch can sleep someone, but it is not a hide a bed. The kitchen has bar seating for 2 and a dining room bar can hold 4 guests. Guests can cook their own meal in our stocked kitchen or head to town for several tasty restaurant options. We supply you with fixins’ for S’mores, Folgers coffee, and charcoal for grilling. You can relax and rock on the back porch, sipping your beverage of choice while enjoying the sunset or some peace and quiet. (This is a Dry county, so come prepared) Come here to unplug or get your work done with our provided wifi. There is a smart TV in the living room along with a tv with dvd player for entertainment upstairs. Games, books, and puzzle can also be found upstairs under the twin bed. The barn is located just down from our house so we can help with any recommendations on restaurants or directions to good hiking trails. If you need something a little smaller or for another part of a group, check out our other rental "The Little House on the Hill" Vrbo # 1935219. It is a quarter mile down the road. It also has a great porch and unique charm. The cabin is located 2.5 miles to the court square where you can hear musicians "picking" on the square almost any day of the week 3 miles to Ozark Folk Center State Park 3 miles to Stone Drive in theater 8 miles to the river where you can hire a guide for great trout fishing 15 miles to Blanchard Springs Caverns (One of the best caves around) 41 miles to Batesville, AR 114 miles to Branson, MO Outdoor amenities: Fire-pit Baggo Grill No Parties

Absolutely adorable! Would definitely stay again. Only negative is if you are looking for quite solitude the highway is close. Otherwise, this is a perfect place to stay while staying in the area. Very clean and inviting!

We love the fire and the s’mores only got one the kiddos ate them all with we had more and sweetener for the coffee would have been great ! Wish we could have stayed longer everything was so fast. Nice place better than any thing I saw in town!

We had a wonderful time at this ‘barn’. The back porch allowed us relaxation (which I don’t do often) and fun time together. Overlooking the pasture and woods from the back porch kept us on the back porch a lot. The hosts are fantastic, going above and beyond what expectations were when we needed a little help. Mountain View is a quaint town with plenty good places to eat and there are several things to do . . . if you can get off the back porch.

The Barn on the Hill was a lovely place to stay in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everyone was impressed with the decor and how clean the Barn is. It is also just a few minutes away from downtown area and other attractions but far enough to not have all that traffic noise. Our hosts were very nice and responsive to our needs and queries. Everything was exactly as advertised and better. The bed was comfortable, the heating worked well, and the cabin was spacious, had comfortable furniture, and great hot water. Not to mention it was well decorated in country chic and I loved it. The loft was perfect for my son. He played the arcade game and relaxed in his own space. Just perfect after a day of catching trout on the White River. Birthday success!

The unique experience of staying in this adorable barn was so much fun. It was like being in a cabin with all the comforts of a high class hotel. The rental was clean , comfortable and close to town. My adult son and I were visiting family in the area and it was the perfect relaxation spot after a busy day. I will definitely stay again when we return.

My husband and I brought our two youngest children for the weekend to help us celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary! The cabin is everything it says in the description and more!! We had a wonderful time! Kid's even had some fun downtime together...without fighting! 😂 We would definitely recommend this cabin and also hopefully coming back ourselves in the future! It also was furnished with everything we needed. Thanks for a wonderful weekend of memories!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the barn. I was in town for the bluegrass festival and this was in the perfect location for my needs. I had a little snafu with the heater and the hosts were very helpful to help me resolve the issue. The wifi was strong and the bed was very comfortable.

Lovely little red barn. Not too big, but not too small. Only about 5 minutes from downtown Mountain View. The porch is perfect for sitting and reading, or just staring into the distance. Our two daughters loved the loft area.

We were riding our motorcycle through the great routes of Arkansas and only stayed here 1 night. Wish we would have arrived sooner to spend more time at this awesome barn and country themed property! Easy to find. Just out of town for privacy. Super clean! Well stocked with all that you need. Had a great porch looking out towards pastureland. The fire pit was amazing and they supplied the wood. It’s one of the best hilights of our trip. If we get back to the area, we will definitely stay here again! Loved it!!!
