My bed was comfy, kitchen was a nice big space, clean and tiny rooms, nicely decorated

Lock on blue bedroom door broken, blind too far out so had sunlight burst through, no plug by window-side bed so no lamp or phone charging, bed in orange room had a dip in mattress, no ironing board or scissors, parking arrangements could be made clearer. Lost all hot water on first full day!

We turned up to the property and the landlord had changed the code so could not get in. Gave him a quick message and all sorted

The bins had been left from previous people and the litter was everywhere outside the front garden and street from either foxs, gulls or combination of both. was not very nice and took over a day to sort out. We were leaving when the cleaner turn up to sort out.

The cost and location.

Just 1 common bathroom amongst 8 people was not ideal!!

Location is spot on for train and city centre. Apart from it being odd that the house I had booked and paid for being used as a baggage store when I was not there, the staff were very nice and helpful. The house is basic with a range of tired carpets etc and not like the pictures. The house does offer good value if you have a large group, otherwise it feels too much like a student house share for a family. However, even if a large group you may wish to consider the fact that almost 9beds shares on small shower and one toilet.

The house is basic for the cost and the mattresses on some of the beds were well past their best. Stains on carpets and on sofa made it feel more like a student house. Do not expect the pictures you see in the website, they must have been taken years ago. Road seems to be predominantly council run and thus there is lots of rubbish around from poor maintenance. Parking is on street via the owner permit and not easy of you have a large car. Neighbouring houses have rubbish left in front garden which makes area feel unsafe. Owner also used the house for storage for other guests baggage without my permission, which I found odd as I had to wait in for them to come and collect their items before I could go to a local wedding.

Great location for Canterbury centre, parking outside, helpful host, very cosy, good value.

We were happy with everything

I and 5 colleagues were visiting Canterbury as we were working on a project in the area. The location of the property is great, as it is not only a short 5 minute walk from the City Centre, but we were able to park our vans directly outside the property, which is a quiet road and it made it very convenient for us. The house is very homely and was in excellent condition. It has all the amenities and facilities you need to cater for yourself. Will definitely be back when working in the area again.

The only recommendation I would have is for there to be more bowls. Apart from that, everything was great.

The house was very spacious, modern and well presented in good walking distance into Canterbury. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all had an excellent sleep. The owner Harry attended very promptly to any messages sent or phone calls and was an excellent host.

The only reservation we had was the location of the property. Although it was in excellent proximity to walk into Canterbury, we did not really feel comfortable leaving our car on the street as the estate it was on did not feel very safe (broken glass on the road etc.) If you are not driving to the property it would be an excellent property to stay in as the house itself was very good.
