Welcome to the Berchtesgaden Alpine National Park. Our Alpine guesthouse is nestled among a stunning mountain range in Schönau am Königssee. Our guesthouse features 11 rooms and one vacation apartment. Comfortable and modern, they ensure a relaxing vacation. Every room (except Room 1) has a balcony or terrace with a breathtaking view of the Berchtesgaden mountains. The guesthouse is located in a quiet, sunny, yet central spot in the health resort of Schönau am Königssee, known for its therapeutic climate. Enjoy the stunning view of the Watzmann and the Berchtesgaden Alps. All major amenities—including shopping, attractions, and restaurants—are just a 15-minute walk away. A bus stop is located right nearby. A short walk of about 20 minutes takes you to the picturesque Königssee with its famous echo and the St. Bartholomä pilgrimage church, as well as the Jenner, which is a popular destination for mountain hikers in the summer and the largest ski area in the Berchtesgadener Land in the winter. Just a few minutes’ walk from our house, there is a cross-country ski trail in winter that winds through the entire municipality.
Our vacation rental, completely renovated and furnished, measures 100 square meters and features 2 bedrooms (each with two double beds), a living room with a pull-out couch and an additional sofa bed, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a separate toilet, a kitchen with a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, and microwave, a telephone, a flat-screen TV, a terrace, and free Wi-Fi.

The apartment was lovely! Lots of space, immaculately clean, and well equipped. Although we did not use the facilities, there is a large game room with a pool table and a football game, as well as toys for small children. Several good restaurants are within walking distance, and there is convenient access to the main bus lines through the area. The lake is close, as are good hiking trails. We’d love to return for another vacation!
