Well-equipped, spacious and comfortable home. Beautiful outlook from all windows: hills, tree-tops, bushland. Close to town. We stayed 3 nights, would loved to have stayed a week to fully unwind.

The pictures don't do this house justice! Airy and open living spaces, well equipped kitchen and a huge undercover outdoor area are just the start. Blue Wren was a lovely place to spend a long weekend and get away from the city for a few days. Emma is a lovely host and wonderful to deal with.

We really enjoyed or stay here in winter time. Was impressed with the facility and the collection of DVD’s. We want to come back when it’s warmer, with the rest of the family, to enjoy the deck and view a bit more

The house and location were both lovely. Outlook from the outdoor balcony very relaxing and quiet. Cows in the adjoining paddock interesting to watch. Bird life entertaining. The cleaner is a little shy when it comes to dusting. House alot more “dust free” when we left. The outdoor tables really needed attention. Would be nice to be able to watch television but the amazing DVD collection certainly made up for lack of telly. Although a print out sheet of instructions on how to use DVD machine etc would be helpful Overall a very pleasant getaway Will certainly book again in the near future.

We had a beautiful stay enjoying the big deck, surrounding bush land and the wood burner. BYO firewood, lighters, newspaper as local supplies pricey and scarce. Lovely hot showers and well equipped kitchen. Thanks for having us.

Lovely home in quiet corner of town, as it is winter was very cold so if you aren't strong enough to handle a block splitter for the wood fire you will need to buy a bag or 2 from local garage as no remote for reverse cycle.

Beautiful house, location, view. Entry with lockbox (wrong code, also rusty) - on entry gorgeous. Beautiful views, bushland amazing. Being winter, cold. No wood, no heating at all. Gas bbq bottle empty, very thin cheap bedding. Electric blankets very appreciated! No tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper - and only 4 rolls of toilet paper. No paper towel, must 'squeegee' dry shower each use and clean property before leaving - no broom, vacuum, just a dustpan. What would be beautiful is having advance notice to bring all the extras - chopping wood after check-in, changing gas bottles, hitting up the local servo for basics.

This holiday house was the perfect size for our family (3 small kids plus grandparents). The fireplace kept us warm throughout. Located next to nice bushland where you can take a stroll and see emus and kangaroos. Place could use a little maintenance but otherwise a beautiful place to stay for a weekend.

Wonderful home which accommodated myself and a few of my friends. Had everything we needed and Emma was very responsive when we had queries and made everything really easy. Would highly recommend to family’s or group of friends

Loved our stay at Blue Wren. A great place to chill for a few days and escape life. The property exceeded our expectations and we loved waking up to the sound of only birds and cows. Cant wait to return!

The house was great for our family. There was a huge selection of books, CDs & DVDs. The verandah was perfect for relaxing with a book with the cows from next door mooing in the background. The bush behind the property was good for a bit of bush walking and we saw a few kangaroos.

We had a lovely time staying at this property with our kids and pooch. Beautiful spot to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Got to a uncleaned house which was never cleaned after the previous guests left the house . Called the property manager who did not answer for the first hour and then when she called back saying that her cleaner was sick and she dint come . No heads up given to her . The house was absolute mess dirty towels on the floor ,used bedding , bins not been emptied ,dirty toilets . Extremely unhelpful host she said I will give u a refund or I will pay you $200 to make the beds and it’s a lot of money to make beds . There was no other place available so I ended up scrubbing the toilets , floors , changing the bedsheets and did the whole cleaning after travelling 4 hours with my two younger kids . Now we are home and this women is harassing me by calling and messaging and accusing me of scratching her floors and giving me shot about using too many linens and asking for another $200

We loved everything about it, nature walks and short drive to centre of the town. We'll would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Lovely spacious house close to town but set in bushland with amazing views. Had a lovely time and the dogs loved exploring. Verandah so spacious you can spend virtually all of your time outside enjoying the view

The house was immaculately presented and very clean and tidy with nice comfy beds. The balcony has beautiful views very local to the high street shops.the house doesn't have aircon but has ceiling fan's we would come back for another stay

This is a special spot, clean and spacious, with a lovely view and a close to nature feel.

We had a short weekend trip away with the pup to Blue Wren Retreat. It was lovely and relaxing and Emma was great in helping to rectify needing an extra bed made up. The only things I would suggest are: - more mats for the front porch area to cover the gaps, particularly for the dog visitors staying. - maybe consider upgrading the lockbox and/or sending instructions for use. Seems straightforward to use, but we struggled with it. - the fly screens to the outdoor living area could use a clean/replacing. The pooch and I really enjoyed the walk through the reserve at the back of the property. Highly recommend, but watch out for the resident ‘Roos!

Booked this property over the the new year weekend. From day 1, communication with owner was excellent and made all the difference. Property is very well maintained and in a beautiful location. There are fans in each room so would be perfect if the weather was warmer too. Kitchen is well equipped. Cleaniliness was top notch. We were a family with elderly grandparents as well as teenagers and two dogs. There was enough room for everybody. Had a great trip and would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the weather was unseasonably cold and we had to chop wood for the fire. A reverse-cycle heater would have been an advantage. The light in the main bathroom didn't work & some door handles were loose. Otherwise a comfortable stay. Worth a visit.
