About this apartment rental
The vacation rental is located in the highest and most beautiful part of Lauscha, which is considered the birthplace of Christmas tree ornaments. Our little town is known worldwide for its glass shops.
It’s very quiet here, the forest is nearby, and the spacious outdoor area is perfect for relaxing after day trips. A bus stop about 100 meters away, as well as the “Oberlauscha” train station, are convenient for trips to Neuhaus am Rennweg or Sonneberg.
In the neighboring towns, you’ll find a summer toboggan run as well as Thuringia’s largest ski resort, “Silbersattel,” which is also a popular destination in the summer.
Lauscha is known for its many glass shops, the colored glassworks, the ski jump complex, the outdoor swimming pool, and—in the Ernstthal district—the summer toboggan run.
Even the train ride between Oberlauscha and Unterlauscha offers an impressive view.
The “Green Belt” is right nearby, along with many hiking trails, the Rennsteig, reservoirs, Europe’s largest Haflinger stud farm, the “Feengrotten” tourist mine, and much more.....
