"Lix" Vacation Rental, Am Sternberg 208, in the Frankenau Vacation Village, located right on the edge of the forest
This approximately 74-square-meter vacation rental is located in Frankenau, North Hesse, in a vacation park right next to the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. The apartment is located on the top floor of a vacation home with a total of two units. If booked simultaneously with the “Mimo” vacation apartment, the entire house can be used, for example, for larger family or group vacations. Separate entrances ensure privacy for each unit. The house is located in the vacation village of Frankenau on the highest part of the hillside, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the valley and the national park town of Frankenau. The hiking trails through the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park begin right behind the house. All guests looking to spend an active vacation with family or friends will find plenty to enjoy. You’ll find wonderful places to visit in the surrounding area. Lake Edersee, featuring one of the largest dams in Europe; the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park, with its magnificent hiking and biking trails; and the towns of Frankenberg, Bad Wildungen, and Korbach, with their beautiful half-timbered architecture, are just a few of the attractions in the Waldeck-Frankenberg region. Are you looking for a short getaway to slow down as an alternative to big-city life? You’ve come to the right place! On the attached balcony, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view surrounded by nature when the weather is nice. There’s no through traffic in the vacation village of Frankenau. The vacation home and its attached living unit are located at the very top of the Sternberg. As a self-catering guest in your vacation apartment, you can order a bedding, towel, and dishcloth package in advance when you book (rental fee applies). This way, you’ll save on luggage and your vacation can start right away. Firewood can also be ordered on-site if needed. The Mimo & Lix vacation home was extensively modernized in 2020/2021 after it was taken over. We hope to welcome you here someday and wish you a wonderful vacation in advance.
The apartment features 2 bedrooms with a total of 4 sleeping accommodations (1 double bed and 2 single beds). The naturally lit bathroom features a modernized shower. There is also a separate guest restroom. The open-concept living/dining area seats 7 at the dining table and features a cozy seating area with 2 separate armchairs. This makes it perfect for relaxing by the fireplace.
On the balcony, you’ll find a table with 4 armchairs. This allows you to enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the balcony or savor the evening sun with a glass of wine.
Access to the apartment is via an outdoor staircase behind the house. Not suitable for wheelchair users.
