About this apartment rental
Our house is located in the Schönau district, in a quiet, sunny, and central location with a wonderful panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Our vacation rental is an ideal starting point for fantastic hikes or walks. Many attractions, such as Königssee or the Jennerbahn, are only about 2 km away and can therefore be easily reached on foot. In winter, there are four cross-country ski trails right in front of the house, each 2–5 km long. A 5-minute walk takes you to the bus stop, as well as restaurants and shops for daily necessities.
Our lovingly furnished vacation apartment, featuring a modern yet rustic style, is located on the top floor of our house and consists of a living and dining area, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a large separate bedroom. The living area is equipped with a dining nook, a cozy couch with a TV, and a spacious kitchen. This cozy apartment is approximately 65 square meters in size and was newly renovated in 2018. It also features an east-facing and a west-facing balcony with seating and a magnificent view of the Berchtesgaden mountains. Bed linens and towels are provided free of charge. Final cleaning, as well as electricity, heating, and water, are included in the price.

We loved our stay in Konigsee. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The views from the two balconies are stunning. The hosts were very friendly and helpful whenever we had any questions. Lake Konigsee is a 10-15 minute cycle or a 40 minute walk away (you can rent bikes from Alpine Bikes). There is a restaurant and a bakery just over the road. Please note that you’ll need cash for almost all purchases and if you arrive at the weekend, make sure to bring all of your food / tea & coffee because shops are shut. We are so glad we visited such a beautiful area and definitely recommend this apartment for your stay!
