The accommodation was beautiful and Louise, our host, was very welcoming and friendly.

Very comfortable room. Wonderful breakfast and Lou was an excellent host.

Palatial room with huge king size bed, beautiful linen, walk in wardrobe, immaculately clean en-suite with hand soap and shower cream. Situated within walking distance of Coromandel town centre. Offering so many opportunities to step back in time to the gold rush times. Lou was a hive of information and said that at the height of the gold rush era there were more than 40,000 people living in the area. So many of the properties still stand albeit used for different purposes. Now we come to breakfast! Pretty sensational and to call it a continental breakfast is a discredit to Lou. Jam packed (pardon the pun) with home made jams, marmalade and local honey, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and home done peach and apple fruits. Toast, crumpets, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit loaf. The table positively groans with goodies to tempt the palate, not that I need any tempting. Lou you and Missy your beautiful German Shepherd make an awesome team. We received so much Kiwi hospitality. Thank you.

The location was very quiet.It was a short walk to the town. The breakfast was amazing much more than we could eat.We also enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast and talking to the host.

this is a must stay property… beautifully appointed, absolutely top class facilities.. huge room, walk in wardrobe, lovely bathroom with great toiletries, deck to sit out on… and the breakfast… wow. option of borrowing bikes to make sightseeing easier… and what a lovely host.

Beautiful bed and breakfast owned by Lou who has a very nice place and she is the perfect host Breakfast is a very upmarket Continental one with masses of fresh fruit , toast , yogurt , cereal etc , beautifully presented Room very spacious with walk in wardrobe which accommodated our large amounts of luggage.

Everything was exceptional with an excellent hostess and “Missy”.

Could not fault it.

Louise was a fantastic host. Her breakfast was continental with many delicious fresh fruits. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a king size bed. We enjoyed the small patio and the sunset and star gazing. Overall it was a very relaxing stay.

Spacious and presented throughout to a very high standard. Good breakfast and Lou the host was a delight, as was the German Shepherd Missy. Unfortunately my husband and I weren’t well during our stay but Lou rallied to help with cough remedies and fresh avocados - thank you!

Louise was a very helpful host, providing us plenty of information about the area. The room was very clean & comfortable.

Owner was really friendly, went above and beyond for breakfast for the two of us also gave us heaps of recommendations for places to go visit 10 out of 10 stay really friendly dog also 😊

Lou was an excellent host. Welcoming and friendly, helpful with local stuff. Excellent breakfast, cereals, yoghurt, stewed fruit, fresh fruit, jams and many other spreads , toast, crumpets etc and juice.😊

Fantastic stay! Breakfast was delicious, our room was very clean & tidy, bed was super comfy!! Louise is a great host and Missy was welcoming :-D Great location being so close to town.
