Friendly staff who explained all the info about the room in detail. The bathtub and views were gorgeous, the room and bed were nice and comfy.
The restaurant was closed/being renovated, the pool was empty because of recent issues.. The staff didn't mention this upon arrival, only that meals would be served in the room which was odd but we didn't think anything of it. I went down on the property to find an empty pool, and only when asking about the restaurant later we found out it was closed, so meals came from elsewhere which explained why it took a long time. We decided to leave early because I was looking forward to laps in the pool with a river view, and having dinner in the restaurant instead of the room. I mentioned this to the staff as well, that I believe it's better to be transparent upon arrival, so we could have decided if we still wanted to stay. Instead they let us find out, and we left early. You have to fill the water yourself via a water dispenser on a different level which I fine, but I believe its part of the hospitality experience that guests have enough inroom water.

Prachtige locatie en accommodatie. We logeerden in het Bambu huisje met geweldig uitzicht op het groen. De kinderen vonden het eigen zwembadje heel leuk. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en de mensen zeer behulpzaam.

Like you own a presidential Villa that cheer up your spirit..
- Clean, Calm.
- Thankful we didn’t see any lizards or insects during our stay.
- Perfect private swimming pool and rice terrace views
- Perfect bath tub
- Good Massage (charged)
- Perfect Floating Breakfast (charged)
- Staff is very helpful, they also made a birthday cake for our baby boy although his birthday was not in the same day of our stay.
- very comfortable bed and bathroom.
- They provide whatsapp number for helping anytime..
- Perfect Wifi
- Also we forgot something in the hotel, they helped us by transporting it to our near location.
- At night, you should be aware that you will hear animals voices as all properties in rice terrace area, but no much fear.
- There were spaces in the big door, not fully locked, they have to solve this situation to avoid any kind of fear for their clients so we can sleep well :).
- Basically, the swimming pool area was not totally private 100% on morning, that why I give this place 9 not 10, but was not a big deal.

Everything was perfect, views were amazing, rooms gorgeous and staff were very helpful. It is on hill so be prepared for stairs but we’ll worth the effort

Los amaneceres son impresionantes , los desayunos , el personal, sin duda uno de los mejores lugares en los que me he alojado en Bali. Estás en plena naturaleza, así que hay bichos y animales a tu alrededor pero eso es una experiencia que hay q vivirla y eso que odio los bichos pero estuve 5 días en esta preciosa villa de bamboo y sin duda volvería a ir .

At the moment the restaurant is under renovation, they provide room service dining instead. The common pool is also under renovation, although villas have private pools.

On opening the door to our villa our breath was taken away by the pure beauty of the scenery and the villa itself. We had our own private pool overlooking the jungle. The property was quite remote however we loved walking and exploring the back roads around the place and saying hello to the locals and seeing all the animals. There was a communal natural water pool down several stairs that was lovely for a dip. Communication was made extremely easy with WhatsApp whatever we needed we sent a message and it was then delivered to our villa with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large and had a huge comfortable bed and pillows. Semi outside bathroom was lovely. Loved loved, loved this place and the staff and would definitely recommend and stay again.
We stayed in Royal Villa. This is the closest to the reception and kitchen and because of this you can hear staff and kitchen noise. If we stayed in any of the other villas we would not have heard any noise at all.

Beatiful pool if you want to make pictures but not really for swimming.
I liked the hotel because we want to stay a view of a jungle. Rooms are big and clean.
Pool can be more clean, breakfast has to be also a little more option and quality.

Paradise, maybe the best places i have stayed. In absolute nature, listening to the river all day. Pool was amazing. The staff also was amazing. I have already booked again for a month this time. Floating breakfast was so nice and romantic. Thank you everyone for the great time 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

An absolute gem in paradise… location is fantastic, view is paradise… instagram Ubud…staff are so lovely and helpful. Massage was the best I have had in years.
Food and drink choice a bit limited and in low season is only available to room… as no where to go near by you are restricted….

The hotel is located next to the rice terraces, that is why it has an amazing view. We stayed in the King Bungalow and it was an amazing experience. The apartment is so big and totally in Balinese style. The breakfast could be better, the portions were not so big, enough for girls :). The staff is very helpful and kind, you feel in good hands. This hotel was our favorite during our stay in Bali because you feel like in the middle of a jungle! I recommend it!
The choice of breakfast and quality, because it is nothing special. Also, we had problems with the warm water in the shower, and the room Tv doesn't work well.

Everything! This was the most beautiful place tucked away in the jungle, the staff are so amazing and helpful they truly made our time in Magatama wonderful. The food was amazing, a really good range of different meals to choose from. Amenities were fantastic, the private pool was such a nice addition, the room had aircon, everything was just great. We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend staying here, if not for the wonderful views then definitely for the wonderful staff. I hope we get to stay here again next time we’re in Bali

Great location and view from the room and private pool. Unfortunately, my partner is afraid of frogs and unfortunately it was, but they are not dangerous. Separate bathroom.

The property is built in authentic joglo style. The view from the room and the wood work in the room was fantastic. This place is a must stay in Ubud, Bali.

We arrived before the check in time, knowing it was possible that the room was not ready. The receptionist seemed to be annoyed by our presence and just told us the room was not ready without even offering to leave our bags, which we had to ask for. The breakfast portions are ridiculous small and without taste, we were already hungry one hour later. We asked for the floating breakfast and they charge 100.000 Rp just for putting the tray in the pool instead of the table and with a fake plant as decoration. We had the floating breakfast in other places in Bali and they never charged extra.
