Lovely Accommodation: Hygiene Is Nowhere Near a 9.8 Rating!

To start with the positives, the accommodation itself has a lot of potential. The way it has been designed and built is lovely, with a charming and atmospheric feel. The rooms are spacious, which is definitely a plus. The housekeeping staff are also very kind and friendly, and we want to emphasise that our complaints are not directed at them personally. In our opinion, they simply do not have the proper supplies and resources needed to do their jobs to an acceptable standard.

Absolutely Disgraceful – Hygiene Is Nowhere Near a 9.8 Rating! From the moment we arrived at the accommodation, we noticed termites in the entrance door. Not exactly the best first impression, but unfortunately, things only got worse from there. On our first evening, when we were getting ready for bed, we pulled back the duvet and discovered stains on the bedding. Upon closer inspection, we found that the fitted sheet on the mattress had an actual bloodstain on it. The duvet itself was stained as well. Absolutely disgusting! We immediately contacted the staff to request clean bedding, but unfortunately, nobody was available to provide us with fresh sheets. As a result, we had no choice but to spend the first night sleeping on top of the bedding rather than underneath it. The following morning, we received a message apologising for the situation and promising that the bedding would be replaced immediately. We went out for breakfast, expecting the problem to have finally been resolved by the time we returned. Unfortunately, we were in for another unpleasant surprise. The bedding had been changed, but once again, the sheets were visibly dirty and stained. It is honestly unbelievable that this could happen twice! After complaining to the staff again, they brought us yet another set of sheets, which we were expected to inspect ourselves before they would put them on the bed. And guess what? Every single sheet was stained. In the end, we had to choose the least dirty one because none of them were properly clean. The staff’s explanation was that this was how the sheets had been returned from the laundry. Fine, but if your laundry service keeps returning stained bedding, then perhaps it is time to buy new sheets! Guests should not have to inspect dirty laundry and choose the least disgusting option just to have something to sleep on. I genuinely cannot understand how this accommodation has a 9.8 rating for cleanliness.

Felt confortable et good to keep focus on my work ✨

• The room is huge, with a big comfortable bed and plenty of storage furniture. • There is a fridge, AC, and free drinking water which is really convenient. • The desk is large and perfect for working. • The room has large windows with lots of natural light and beautiful vegetation outside, which creates a calm atmosphere. • The bathroom is spacious. • The staff is extremely kind. I had accidentally blocked my suitcase lock and they spent one full hour helping me open it, with patience and genuine kindness.

• The towels really need to be replaced — mine had holes and looked worn out. Also, it would be great to have smaller towels for hands/face. • The lighting in the room is too dim, especially for working in the evening — adding one or two lamps would make a big difference. • The bathroom is large but there is no space to place toiletries — adding a small shelf or cabinet would help a lot. • Please warn guests when cleaning the ceiling in the bathroom — water/drips fell inside without notice, and my backpack and suitcase were underneath. • One of the dogs barks very early in the morning — perhaps the staff can gently manage this if possible. • You can hear the noise from the road, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to sound. • The throw blanket on the bed gets dusty quickly — I recommend not using it or replacing it with one that is easier to wash. - location is good for gym but not cafe, restaurant, shop Those were details for me ! But needed to be said

La única pega es que la ducha estaba muy encima del wc y se mojaba todo. Ya sé que es muy normal en Bali pero el baño era lo bastante grande como para que lo hubiesen dispuesto de otra forma.
