horrible customer service, vacation ruined

Customer service was just horrible. First, there was no instructions on how to enter the property (which was a unit in a multi unit condo building). I informed the host when we would arrive, that host replied, "I will wait for you". And here we were, staying in front of the closed door with no indication whatsoever which unit to buzz (no property name or any other indication anywhere, nobody waiting for us, and the host contact phone not answering to my calls). Finally a neighbor let us in in the building, but that good Samaritan had no idea which apartment we should go to. At this time I was able to download the the Bookings app, and the host answered to my text message via the app, telling which apartment we should go to. Second, next day the host started sending me messages asking urgently for copies of our passports. Well, is this was so urgent, why the host did not ask about this in advance? Just like every other host does? My hope for a worry-free, screen-free weekend was ruined. Third, the host started sending me some links and telling me to open the link and pay some taxes.... For starters, I'm not going to open unknown links in a foreign country and provide my credit card information to God knows who. Then, the receipt from Bookings stayed clearly I already paid everything including city taxes. Then, if there was really something additional to pay, why the host did not tell me about this in advance? Why should I drop everything in a middle of a walking tour in a foreign city, try to use my phone with a bad connectivity, etc??? Had I known about this extra tax payment in advance , I would have simply left cash to the host to cover this extra expense..... Forth, there was no instruction of any kind how to lock the door when we were checking out of the property. The door did not lock automatically, and I simply left the key inside the apartment and closed the door carefully (but the door remained unlocked)....
