Misleading listing, poor accommodation conditions, and disappointing support despite refund.

Address provided in booking details was insufficient and owner of the apartment provided different address via third party application.

Our experience with this property was unfortunately very disappointing. The apartment we received was not the one shown in the Booking listing. We booked an apartment with a terrace based on the photos, but upon arrival we were given a ground-level/basement apartment instead. This change was not communicated in advance and was not transparent. The apartment had very little natural light and an unpleasant sewer odor. The hot water system relies on operating a circuit breaker according to the provided instructions. Despite following these instructions, we were unable to get hot water during our first 24 hours at the property. This can be particularly problematic for families with young children, pregnant women, or anyone expecting basic amenities to be readily available. Communication with the owner was confusing. We were told that we should have specifically requested the terrace apartment, even though the booking process only asked whether we preferred a smoking or non-smoking apartment. If different apartment types are available, this should be clearly communicated and selected during the booking process rather than assumed afterward. After multiple discussions with both the owner and Booking.com support, our reservation was eventually canceled and refunded. However, traveling with a two-year-old child, we had to find alternative accommodation ourselves during our vacation. The process was further delayed because we were informed that a replacement apartment would be provided, but in reality no alternative accommodation was made available. As a result, we were forced to spend the night in conditions that did not match what we had booked. In our opinion, Booking.com should review how this property advertises its apartments and ensure that each unit is accurately represented in the listing. Charging approximately $150 for a basement apartment with these conditions does not reflect the quality that was advertised.

Very good

Very nice old house. In a great location by the sea. The staff is very kind. They were constantly asking how we were and if we needed anything.

May be another air conditioner in the main room would be better because the one in the bedroom is not enough.

Great location and good value for money.

The apartment (number 1) is traditional, spacious and comfort with huge and useful terrace. The kitchen has all necessary equipment. There is a big fridge, table inside the apartment, and also one in the terrace. The garden is big and beautiful with lot of olive trees and pines, two showers in the entrance and big summer kitchen in the back. There are very good barbecue and sink and also spacious dining area in the shade. The parking is also good. The beach is very near and perfect for those who like wild beaches.

The air conditioning is only in the bedroom and can't cool the rest of the apartment well. There is a fan though in the dining room so it helps.

Exceptional

The house was big with nice yard, the apartment comfortable, we had no need for an AC, although there was one. The apartment was clean, and towels and linens were changed regularly. The location was great, in the quite area. The beach in front of the house was very nice, with natural shade until 1:30pm, and extremely clean water. There are also other very nice beaches in the area, less than 10 minute drive away.

We liked essentially everything about the house, would like to come back next year. Note though that we came by car, and were shopping groceries in Nikiti. The closest store is not far away, but the walk is not that short.

Wunderschöner Garten, geräumige Wohnung, toller Balkon! Nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt.

Wenig Ablagefläche, da der einzige Kleiderschrank keine Ablagefächer hat. Könnte etwas sauberer sein.
