Nestled in the Palatinate Forest–Northern Vosges Biosphere Reserve, our vacation home “Am Brunnen” is located in Nothweiler. Just a stone’s throw from the French border, it offers everything you could want for a relaxing vacation. It’s an ideal starting point for hiking, rock climbing, playing boules, trail riding, and cycling or mountain biking. In our lockable garage, we provide three charging stations for e-bikes. 
A small entryway awaits our guests just inside the front door. This is where you can store your shoes and jackets after a hike. There are also hooks here for leashes and dirty towels for your four-legged family members. A beautiful wooden staircase with 12 steps leads up to our living area. The modern, fully equipped kitchen has everything you could want for cooking together: plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware; a practical kitchen island with an induction cooktop and dishwasher; as well as an oven, refrigerator, and freezer. There’s also a drip coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a hand mixer, and a raclette machine. Additionally, the kitchen is equipped with a washer and dryer. We also provide dish towels and a starter kit of dish soap, dishwasher tablets, sponges, and laundry detergent.
In the adjacent open dining area, a large dining table with 6 comfortable chairs invites you to relax and spend time together. The wood-burning stove (expected to be available starting in November 2021) for cooler days connects the dining area to the living area. Matches and the first basket of firewood are ready for a cozy evening filled with warm comfort.
From the large balcony, a staircase leads down to the private garden (available starting in spring 2022), which features cozy wooden furniture and a swivel grill. Here, you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine and wind down the day with an unobstructed view of Wegelnburg Castle.
Also on the first floor is a large bathroom with natural light, featuring a rain shower, double sink, and toilet.
There is another bathroom on the second floor, also with a walk-in rain shower, double sink, and toilet. A large and a small towel are provided for each guest. Of course, a starter supply of toilet paper, tissues, and hand soap is also provided here.
The three separate bedrooms on this level are furnished with large double beds (2 x 180 x 200 cm, 1 x 180 x 220 cm) and wardrobes with drawers, wooden hangers, and shelving. Each guest will find two different pillows and a large comforter to snuggle under. Blackout blinds on the triple-glazed windows ensure a restful night’s sleep. Valuables can be safely stored in a safe.



Vacation home, shower and bathroom, toilet, 3 bedrooms:

Completely renovated and modernly furnished, the second floor offers our guests three bedrooms with large double beds, two shower rooms—each with a toilet and double sink—as well as walk-in showers.
The fully equipped kitchen also includes a dishwasher and an induction stove with a center-mounted range hood. Of course, a washer and dryer are also available. The dining room adjoins the open kitchen. Through the patio door, you step out onto a large balcony that offers a great view of Wegelnburg Castle. Cozy seating invites you to enjoy an aperitif at sunset. On cooler days, a wood-burning stove in the living room provides cozy warmth.
