About this apartment rental
Not far from the beauty of Lake Constance, yet in a completely peaceful setting, our lovely vacation apartment is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Argental valley.
Enjoy the short distances to Langenargen, Kressbronn, Lindau, or Wangen—but relax far away from all the tourist hotspots on your south-facing terrace.
Here, you’ll hear only the murmur of the Argen River, the singing of the birds, and the occasional tractor.
It’s a two-minute walk to the banks of the Argen River, where you can always cool off on hot days. There are many hidden spots along the shore where you can unwind in the shade.
In the evening, you can grill something delicious on our barbecue, sit by the campfire, and listen to the sounds of nature.
And yet, the attractions of the beautiful Lake Constance region are not far away.
It takes about 15 minutes to drive to Langenargen, Tettnang, Kressbronn, and Lindau.
The same goes for Wangen, and it’s not far (about 30 minutes) to Scheidegg or Oberstaufen for hiking.
The nearest supermarket is in Neukirch, about 5 minutes away.
Our house, which consists of two sections, was completely renovated and rebuilt in 2014. To the north stands the beautifully restored half-timbered house, and to the south, a modern new building. The vacation rental, which faces entirely south, is located in the basement of this building. The sun terrace is connected to the vacation rental at ground level.
The vacation rental meets all the standards of a new construction, and from the courtyard side, you can enjoy the charm of a half-timbered building.
Flunau is also a great place to stay with children. Here, you can let the little ones run free, since Flunau is a cul-de-sac with hardly any cars. There are plenty of toy vehicles, a slide, a spring rider, and swings for the kids.
Our kids (ages 9–14) are always happy to have playmates, too.

Die Ferienwohnung ist modern eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Urlaub mit Selbstversorgung benötigt. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Sehr ruhig gelegene Ferienwohnung mit Blick auf Schloß Achberg und man hört das Wasser der Argen plätschern, wenn man auf der Terrasse ein Sonnenbad genießt. Guter Ort um sich vom Stress zu befreien. Auch sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Nach Lindau etwa 20-25 Minuten mit dem Auto, aber viele schnuckelige Dörfer und schöne Landschaft unterwegs.
