Although only 350 square feet, this home has everything you need for a delightful stay. Cook dinner in a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and coffeemaker. You have dinnerware, silverware, water and wine glasses, cookware, and all the essential kitchen accessories. Both the loft and sleeping pod provide queen beds. Waking up in your treehouse, the first thing you feel is peace. No traffic, no sirens, no planes flying overhead. Only birdsong—the cry of a loon, the piping of a chickadee. Through the windows, you see only leaves, like green glass, filtering the early morning light. Below you, on the ground, a doe and her fawn pick their way down to the pond. The eco-friendly elements are less visible but just as essential to the Littlefield vision: many recycled and reclaimed materials were used in the construction of your treehouse. It is also super-insulated, with ultra-efficient heating and hot water. At present, the energy that powers this tiny home is wind sourced, with plans for summer 2020 to install a 150-panel solar array on the property, making Littlefield retreat’s five boutique tiny homes entirely carbon neutral. We will send you a message the day before your reservation with your unique key code for accessing the Canopy Treehouse. -Please only burn wood that is supplied or any dead already laying wood, no cutting of trees is permitted. -When using fire ring please use cover if windy or a lot of sparks. -Do not add any chemicals to the hot tub unless otherwise instructed. -Please clean your feet etc off as much as possible before getting in spa and keep cover on whenever spa is not being used to conserve heat and cut down on debris. -Please try and take off shoes when entering the treehouse. -when using sinks please try to wipe up any extra water that may be sitting on the counter top or vanity as both are wood -Wash all dirty dishes before leaving -Turn AC off if you had turned it -close any windows you may have opened. -return fishing and canoeing gear back to shed, lock canoe and leave upside down. -If any piece of gear breaks during your stay please inform us so that we can repair or replace for the next guest.
