Diamond Beach 405 - Blue Haven is a gorgeous 3-bedroom and 2-bath property at Diamond Beach Resort. Enjoy stunning views, a lazy river, and a cascading pool all within the resort. The living, dining, and kitchen area all open with views of the gulf from almost every angle. Take a seat at the couch to watch a movie or even watch the sun go down from the floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen is state of the art with everything that is needed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Grab a cup of coffee and sit out on the balcony for the sunrise or make a favorite drink for the sunset./p> Try not to fight over the primary bath with its giant shower and separate jetted tub! Use the included washer and dryer to get the beach clothes and towels ready for the next day. Sleeping Accommodations: Primary Bedroom: 1King (sleeps 2), Main Level Second Bedroom: 1 Queen (sleeps 2), Main Level Third Bedroom: 2 Single/Single Bunks (sleeps 4), Main Level DIAMOND BEACH RESORT Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes), outdoor water slide (peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community. It was a great place to stay for a family. Our kids loved the indoor pool and game room. We were only able to swim in the outdoor pool once as the water was freezing so it had to be pretty hot out to enjoy it. The condo was a good location, not right in the heart of Galveston but close. Would recommend!!

We really enjoyed our time at Diamond Beach. The pool was nice but not heated, and the water slide was not working. We loved reserving the theatre room for one night. There is a spa in the building, and the massage therapist was amazing! The beach was a close walk from the condo and very private.
The Blue Haven was beautifully decorated and had a lot of amenities. We loved listening to the waves from the balcony. However, I think a few things should be mentioned in the listing.
1. The master bedroom and bathroom do not have a door separating them from each other. It's strange when you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or if you have multiple families sharing the space.
2. The second bathroom shower is really tall, so older people may have difficulty getting in and out.
3. There are no big baking sheets for making pizza and no pizza cutter!
4. They only give you one towel per person and no beach/pool towels.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. Check out at 10am is early in my opinion. But it was overall a spectacular weekend at a beautiful property!

Everything was perfect, we loved it. It was decorated beautifully We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The only negative is the closets in both bedrooms were locked so there was no place to hang clothes. The only closet was in the bunk room and it was mainly shelves

This was our family’s second time visiting Diamond Beach and our first time at Blue Haven.
The pros (of Blue Haven specifically): nice interior with lots of cute decor, well stocked kitchen, nice kitchen appliances, great hot water for showers and kitchen, good wifi (according to my husband that worked quite a bit), nice view of beach and pool, the beds were very comfortable, lots of drawer space for unpacking clothes, and a good working A/C!
The cons (of Blue Haven specifically): Long walk to the main elevator, pretty cramped with all the furniture inside, the weather/sound strip on the front door was removed and left about a 1 inch gap, the sliding glass door to the patio was very difficult to open and close, the master shower handle was very difficult to turn, the washer and dryer were extremely slow (took almost 3 hours for a single load to complete), and no lock on the community bathroom door.
Diamond Beach overall is phenomenal and we highly recommend! We will come back again for sure, but will probably get a different room as our family struggled with several of the cons above.

Overall we were pleased with resort. Some amenities weren’t working or were closed. However, it was very clean, well landscaped and plenty of things to do to keep small children and adults happy. The shaded picnic and grill area by the Lazy River was nice especially with the Galveston heat. The resort is nicely located making it easy to get into downtown Galveston, Moody Gardens etc. Beach access was a walk but easy. We would stay there again.
