location is fantastic - easy to get to beach, shopping, many great restaurants and bakeries nearby. Apartment is a good size and comfortable - nice to have the balcony to enjoy comfortable evenings after spending the day exploring.
paint peeling in the apartment, bathroom door does not close, a small hole in the wall. only 3 wine glasses. crappy old clothes hangers.

Good place to stay - handy to shops, railway station and metro.
The only sour note was the use of Swikly to manage the deposit/bond process. I get that some people leave rented apartments in a terrible state, so I accept the need for some kind of bond. But Swikly made me very nervous. They sent me several emails trying to sell me insurance, to cover the bond. Since we're careful tenants, I didn't feel it was necessary, but we felt we were being pressured to take it. I felt that I was being set up to be charged the bond on some pretext and that I would have no come-back if that happened. It hasn't happened, thankfully, but it would be better if they sent just one email offering the insurance and left it at that.
