The BERGPARADIES vacation home is where the local carpentry shop Trachte—known far beyond the state’s borders—got its start. Today, these historic walls serve as a wonderful starting point for hikes and bike rides in the Diemelsee Nature Park. Even the drive through the beautiful countryside is something special.
The interior of this 120-square-meter house exudes an incredible sense of tranquility. Solid wood furniture, a large living-dining area with a cozy tiled stove, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired are spread across two levels, which are also accessible via a stairlift.
For outdoor time, there’s a balcony as well as a cozy garden area with a barbecue space. Depending on the season and weather, patio furniture, lounge chairs, and a sun umbrella are available.
Wi-Fi, a bike shed, and a parking space are available at no extra charge.

We felt very comfortable there again. The surroundings are beautifully peaceful, and the hosts are very kind and helpful.
