About this apartment rental
The apartment is located at the end of a private road on the edge of the forest, with no through traffic, in the Blindau district, and is in an absolutely quiet setting. It is a very quiet and bright two-room apartment for 2 people on the first floor of a vacation home with a separate entrance, its own additional hallway, and a coat closet on the first floor. It features a separate kitchen-dining area with seating for 4, a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a bathtub and bidet. The bedroom, furnished with a double bed (200 x 200 cm), includes a wardrobe and a dresser. The living room also has 2 large closets, as well as 1 couch and 2 armchairs. The south-facing balcony with panoramic views is accessible from both rooms and features 2 chairs, a small dining table, and a parasol. The apartment includes a carport.
Hikers can set out on many trails directly from the house, such as those leading to the Hindenburghütte, Oberhemmersuppenalm, Eggenalm, Straubinger Haus, Taubensee, and Winklmoosalm. In winter, the cross-country ski trail begins just a few meters away, and one of Bavaria’s longest toboggan runs is within easy reach. Wonderful walking and hiking trails start right in the Blindau district.
Reit im Winkl: A Climatic Health Resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “localities whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess characteristics that are beneficial to recreation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions for good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air through the use of geothermal energy and an extensive bus service.
