Wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Menton! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus in Menton, France. The hotel is in a fantastic location right across the road from the sea. Every morning we’d put on the provided robes and slippers and head straight for a swim — it genuinely felt like we had our own private beach! The shoreline is a bit pebbly/rocky, but the water is beautiful and crystal clear. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Everything about the location made it so convenient for exploring Menton. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the French Riviera. A perfect mix of comfort and that special “beach right outside your door” feeling!

The staff were incredible friendly and helpful! The room was beautiful, clean and replenished daily if needed. The beach view and the location of the hotel are wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff (including overnight staff) were very thoughtful and empathetic. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Clean and attentive staff and good location but noisy because of the major road in front. Unfortunately the A/C didn’t work because of the season it was shot down, it didn’t even blow air.

Lots to like about this hotel. The staff were great, hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Coffee maker , kettle , tea, coffee and a small free mini bar are very nice extras as well as a coffee and cakes available every afternoon in reception.The breakfast was extra but good value. We had a room with a balcony / sea view which was lovely- it's just very noisy sitting out as the hotel is on the main road . With the windows shut however you can hardly hear any noise . Parking is provided at a cost ( 25 euros per day on site or 15 euros in a secure car park 5 minutes walk away)- I think you would need to pre book in high season. The hotel is just on the outskirts of Menton so a mile to the Centre and maybe 2 miles to the old town which is lovely. Lots of restaurants in the centre and on the promenade along the route. We enjoyed l'avenue in particular. The only slight issue we had was that the room smelled of cigarette smoke on arrival - the staff thought it may be due to people smoking on nearby balconies? It wasn't pleasant but the staff offered sprays for the room etc and it faded after a few days but as smoking is allowed on balconies , if people leave doors open it may drift into the room. The hairdryer is also rubbish so if you need one I would take your own. Again the very helpful staff lent me one for a few days. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it .
