Half gallon of spoiled milk in a jug on the floor when we checked into our room. Shower had hair on the walls and drain.

It is a very convenient location to everything in Williamsburg... walkable to restaurants, grocery and pharmacies and bus lines to the historic area. The suites were so nice... well-maintained, roomy. The staff was phenomenal. They were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. We had a great stay because of them! Donnet really goes above and beyond in her service.

Good location, a lot of food options nearby, very nice staff, hotel needs updating, tub/shower a bit out dated, small sink area. Our TV was between couch area and bedroom and a bit difficult to see from bed. Very clean room. Comfortable bed but pillows not so good. Breakfast buffet had good selection and they provide complimentary 8oz sodas and ice creams 24 hrs. We have stayed in many Williamsburg hotels and this one was above average. Would recommend for family.

We saw a cockroach at breakfast, it was crawling until the breakfast cabinet. Then we went to our room and there was a baby cockroach in our room. We enjoyed our stay up until that point. We left shortly after that.

Having been a manager for Marriott in the past, I am immediately drawn to what is wrong. Upon check in, the guest service rep had zero personality or friendliness. The in-room refrigerator and freezer had freezer frost buildup nearly halfway throughout. Very early in the morning 5-6am, we were awakened by what I believe to be a dump truck emptying a dumpster, clanking back and forth. Surely they can discuss with their vendor a more reasonable window for pickups, as they are paying for a service? While brushing teeth and washing at the sink, due to where the mirror is placed, you can see the the sink drain is corrosive and in need of cleaning. In a nutshell, they may clean the “top layer”, but where is the deep clean? Disappointing. I know Marriott’s standards which is why we chose this property.

At best this property was average. Staff not very friendly, room not very clean, breakfast not good at all.
The parking was full and the attendant told me "well we don't charge for parking so its first come first served".

The rooms were lovely and aside from a stained comforter, very clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We used to pool area which was also very clean.

The room was relatively spacious and accommodated all of our needs. The toiket was too low to the ground, and the bathroom was very shallow. The fan in the room was cute, but didn’t work. The refrigerator was micro mini, so it did not allow for much storage of food. The freezer portion worked really well, however the refrigerator part started to freeze the food. The microwave was kind if small as well. The room was clean and tge beds were comfortable. The internet was sporadic, making the TV hard to watch since it was based on the internet signal. There weren't a lot of outlets to plug cell phones or tablets. There was only one nightstand for 2 queen beds which made it hard to have your phone near by. The hotel only had one working elevator, so waiting to get to your floor was uncomfortable. The hotel did offer a really nice free breakfast each morning that was fairly comprehensive. It took it consideration of special diets. They even offered a complimentary snack time between 5pm and 8pm which was a nice touch. The cost of the stay was a little pricey than im used to, but i would definitely stay again.

Free breakfast. The choices changed each day and made everyone happy.

Received a paper that said they come in the 2nd day to clean. This did not happen-you have to explicitly ask. We didn’t need or want new linens, just wanted new towels and trash to be taken out. They said we can just leave the towels and trash in the hallways at night and someone would get them. They were not gone until late the next afternoon.
The toilet would start running randomly in the
middle of the night and wake my husband up.
The televisions would randomly glitch and turn off.

Stayed 4 nights for a Busch Gardens trip. Great location. Spacious room for large family. Breakfast was delicious, different options available. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Will stay again for next years Busch Gardens trip.

The bathroom was very dirty, there was hair on the floor, blood on the sink area. Pizza from the last guest left in the fridge. Very disappointed.
