The most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! Hard pillows. Very old/felt unsafe lifts, all guests we met commented on the terrible lifts. Overpriced because of F1 weekend, the place needs a revamp or closing!

Unfortunately our room had not much natural light with windows blocked by other building walls. Over priced for the standard room we had. Otherwise clean and friendly staff.

The hotel card wouldn’t work in the lift when i try to get back to my room at midnight. Luckily there was someone at reception to give me a new card.

Found it to be very dated and not as clean as a motel room should be. Staff not very friendly. A staff member in the cafe could not understand English which makes it hard to take coffee and breakfast orders.

Only good thing was that it’s close to all the restaurants and bars. Other than that I wouldn’t stay again. Overpriced and dinghy.. I’m a gold member with Expedia and I’m supposed to get a room upgrade if it’s available. Multiple different sites showed availability yet the staff tried to say it wasn’t. I asked what would happen if I booked it and they claimed it would “bounce back” and not allow me too. It was not a nice stay at all.

Very comfortable bed, helpful staff, nice breakfast in the hotel cafe. Fairly basic but nice enough place to stay, a nice bakery around the corner and a quick walk over to the beach.

Location was great for our needs , Service was ok from the girls at the reception, Rooms were average for the the price we paid , old rooms ,has bath tub but no plug , restaurant was a hit and miss ,no room service ,not set up for elderly or disabled ,no sound barrier can hear everything from next door ( in witch the neighbours partied till 2am on the 1st night of our stay ) very disappointing!! I’m sure there are better deals out there if you shop around

Great Location, Great Staff.. Good Enough Hotel, but definitely needs a refurb in some rooms, which holes in Carpet and some of the bathrooms need an upgrade.. But, overall a good place and was ideal for my needs at the time..

Quite comfortable facility, warm shower, comfy mattress to sleep in. Room was quiet and no outdoor noise. It was a good stay.

Bathroom was good except for the water pressure and hot water kept going in and out. The bed was amazing to sleep in. TV was super small and the remote barely work because it was a 5 button universal remote. Parking was $35 a night and was super hard to park in. Definitely never staying here again.

The staff in the bar were excellent - friendly and welcoming. However, the bathroom had mould in the grouting, a cigarette burn at the end of the bath and cracks all around the bath. The airconditioning was noisy and needs a good clean. The room was hot and stuffy. The chair at the desk had an arm nearly falling off.

We really enjoyed our stay at The St Kilda Beach hotel. It was clean and very comfortable and we received a complimentary room upgrade to a king size room with a bath. The hotels proximity to St Kilda Beach and the pier and Acland street makes this location a favourite for us.
