Great hotel; clean, nice rooms, modern, nice location.
No room services is a bit annoying. Fridg empty in the room. Can’t get a drink at night since fridg is empty (no pay as you go stuff). Not even milk cups for coffee.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Location is close to everything. We had a wonderful stay.

This is our second time staying at Chateau Laurier and it did not disappoint. Clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient location - walkable to so many great spots! Will definitely stay again!

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was updated and comfortable. Unfortunately it was a long winding walk from the lobby in section D and the view from the room was a brick wall. The hotel is really close to the old town and the park. Quebec City is lovely. Bring your cross country skis and skates in winter and join the locals in the park!

Great and easy!

Great staff, clean rooms, walkable distance to everything in Vieux-Quebec.

The specific room I was provided was adjacent to main entry. The walls are paper thin and you could hear folks entering the building as early as 5am.

Great location

Liked the location and amenities but i wish there was an area inside near the hot tub to hang our towels/robes because it is very cold and snowy outside

The hotel is very convenient and easy to commute around. Whereas the parking space was a bit small and the toilet was stuck all the time

This was our first stay at the Laurier and it was exceptional! We have visited the City at least a dozen times and have stayed at the Frontenac and other historic Inns. However, the Laurier is our new preferred hotel. The staff is lovely, the lobby is not frenetic (like the Chateau Frontenac)and inviting with ample lounge areas. The rooms are most spacious with Fireplaces (some) and the location is very convenient. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs made more luxurious by the comfortable robes! My only consideration is that although they have easily accessible wine dispensers, I would prefer bar environs and its related camaraderie.

Stayed 3 nights. Requested housekeeping one time and they never cleaned room as requested.
Otherwise excellent service

Service at the front desk was top notch, staff was naturally very friendly and helpful. Room was amazing and the level of cleanliness was very high. Close to several local attractions. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel looks good outside but the rooms are very bare for a 4 star property. It is centrally located which is a big plus.

We loved the Pool. Sauna and Outdoor Hot Tubs for soaking on a cold night. Convenient store was in the hotel and open late. Also many grab and go items near the front desk. Very nice Bar and Restaurant St Hubert in the Hotel!

I love this property and this was my second visit. Unfortunately our little family was situated over the event room and there was exceptionally loud bass & speaker music playing past midnight. It was challenging with a six year old in tow. Otherwise, we loved the amenities and location of this spot. Super easy access, parking, and an easy walk to lots of things.

One night for business stay. Very good location. Great rooms. Breakfast is not free, expensive and could be a lot better quality.

Super hotel

We booked the Chateau Laurier Quebec with family because we had stayed there in 2008. We liked how central it was for checking out Old Quebec, The Plains of Abraham, etc. But we were shocked to see the lobby had changed. In 2008 it had old world charm and we loved hanging out there, but now it was not so inviting.
3.0
We had good accommodations for what we paid and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located to Old Quebec as long as you are able to walk. The on-site parking is convenient. The hotel has a lot of potential but it fell flat in some areas. The restaurant was over-priced for cocktails & supper. The breakfast buffet was not good. The convenience store only accepted Canadian debit or cash. If you paid in USD they did not give the exchange rate. The systems between the restaurants, and the store do not communicate. You cannot charge purchases from them to your room. There is no documentation in the room in how to operate the coffee maker, where to find ice, vending, restaurants, etc.

Amazing spot, so close to the walls of Old Quebec! Would stay here again

The Chateau Laurier was very convenient to Upper Old Town as well as beautiful public open spaces, parks and historic sights.
The Plains of Abraham, where the decisive battle for control of Canada was fought, are located just behind the hotel.
The hotel was very nice with very helpful staff. It has large rooms and much appreciated lounge areas off the lobby.
There is very convenient public overnight parking and valet service.
The Chateau Laurier is a very nice hotel located in a beautiful area of old Quebec. I recommend spending a few nights there.

Room could have been cleaner and more recently updated. Room hvac wasn’t working and we had to call to get it fixed.

Spent a birthday weekend with my wife here. Right on the Grand Alleé with many bars and restaurants. 20 minute walk downhill to the Hotel Frontenac. It is a clean, quiet hotel, but the parking garage is tight if you have an SUV. Navigating turns in the garage are tricky but if you take it slow, you’ll be fine.
