Just spent my first night in Delhi here. Approximately 35min from the airport. Friendly greeting and they took care of my bags to the room. Quick and easy checkin. Nice room with good standards. Very quiet aircondition. Small outdoor pool, and it's very noisy traffic behind the bushes/wall. Breakfast was excellent with top service and a lot to choose from. Highly recommended hotel.

Going in the winter time, you'd figure there would be some heating but there is none. It's freezing at night. There is an extra comforter in the closet but it smelled like it hadn't been washed in years. I couldn't use it. I got electrocuted from the clothing iron because the wire was exposed from the cord near the plug. It happened twice because I didn't realize what it was the first time. Old clothing iron. My in-room safe broke twice and I had to call management two separate times because the batteries died out. Each time took 30 min of waiting. The only good part was the buffet. Overall, this hotel is not 5 stars and doesn't live up to the name. The surrounding area is just a busy road with no sidewalk. It's not in a walkable area.

Great room, great complimentary amenities including a pool, outdoor jacuzzi, indoor jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. Cafe next to the lobby was Mister Chai, a little pricey but great cup of tea. Had a restaurant on site, Shang Palace, delicious chinese food. Had breakfast daily on site at Tamra, solid breakfast. Even got a massage at the spa, Chi, and really enjoyed it.

Hotel Erik was great . However when we went to the grappa bar…ordered things of menu that were not available ie Tap Beer and Chardonnay…. We expected better of this standard this hotel was supposed to be and was charging

My stay at Shangri-La Eros New Delhi was superb. I would usually stay at more budget friendly hotels when travelling, but considering this was a special trip, I decided to go for it as I had always wanted to experience the Shangri-La brand. I had a wonderful stay here - the hotel is centrally located in New Delhi, meaning it was convenient to get around, and had a private gated entrance for security. My room was bright, spacious and modern, with an extremely comfortable king size bed and subtle Asian inspired furnishings throughout. I particularly enjoyed the strength of the shower jet - after a tiring day exploring the madness of India it was much needed! The highlight of my stay was, however, the delicious buffet breakfast which was included in my room’s rate. Of all of the hotels I’ve stayed in before, this was by far the best breakfast offering, with an absolutely incredible spread of Indian, continental and Asian items to enjoy. The variety was simply outstanding - I ate like a king here and everything I tasted was mouthwatering. The staff at Shangri-La Eros New Delhi are an asset to the company - I was greeted warmly upon check in, and throughout the entirety of my stay, which made such a difference. I was particularly impressed with the housekeeping team - I often chatted with them in the mornings and they were so kind, doing a wonderful job with making up my room. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in Delhi!

The hotel is one of the more superior hotels in Delhi. Great food in all aspects. The diversity of options for breakfast is great. The Italian restaurant, specially the authenticity of the pizza napolitana was great. The service and simple cleanlines was excellent. Felt like an oasis.

I requested the high floor but the receptionist offered me a room at the low floor. The room was not as much as I expected for Shangri-la but the bed and pillow were still very comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet the most during my stay. This is not a hotel if you're looking for a nice view.

The Shangri-La Eros, New Delhi is a very conveniently located hotel in New Delhi. The property is well maintained and feels very luxurious upon arrival. The staff work together like a well-oiled machine to make you feel welcome and tend to your needs while on premise. We opted for a chauffer to take us around the city and visit the Taj Mahal, he was very knowledgeable of the city, provided us with incredible recommendations. We felt very safe with all the staff.

The Shang Dynasty restaurant is great, it is some of the most authentic Chinese food you can find in Delhi. Chi spa is also excellent, clean facilities and top notch service. Only downside to this hotel we saw was the outside construction/industrial noise which was bothersome and went on practically all night.

By all means avoid the hotel restaurants!!! They DO NOT measure up tp this excellent lodging! I tried all 3 and they were all lacking. Mister Chai had glacially slow service, and the Asian restaurant nuked their fare with an avalanche of salt that burned my mouth. The Indian restaurant was no better; I ordered a chicken curry and got chunks of boney chicken in a puddle of oversalted flavorless gravy that must have been from a powder mixed envelope. So bad I sent it back and went outside to eat!

one of my room mate is the member of the hotel group, when approach them for room upgrading, the counter staff wasn't helpful and give a standard answer, "depend of the availability. room furniture a bit run down. housekeeper and cafe staff are friendly

For such a lovely property the front desk staff needs to reflect a warm welcome to this beautiful place. The person that welcomed us was cold, no personality and to be honest could’ve been a robot and I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference. Moreover, we asked for breakfast to be delivered at 4 am before an early flight, nothing was on time and we had to chase this by calling the front desk. Not what is expected from a luxury hotel and I’ve been to several Shangri-La properties, this one just fell short all around.

A little haven in the madness of Delhi!! The staff were always warm and welcoming and extremely helpful when needed Housekeeping were amazing The choice of food within the buffet restaurant was tasty and extensive Must mention also the smell throughout the hotel which was incredible - I would love to bottle it up and bring it home with me - as were the floral displays in reception Loved it all!!

The Shangri-La never disappoints, the brand is quality. However, on this occasion I've stopped short of my typical 5 stars as the service was a little less proactive. For example, in the Horizon lounge, which usually exudes service, we were constantly having to ask for another drink, whether it be coffee, tea, juice, wine or spirits. None of the usual, can I get you another, or would you like a refill? In complete contrast the staff in the Spa, looker room, and pool side, amazingly attentive. Our thanks to those that went the extra mile! We also found the checkout process completely disingenuous; two staff members checking us out as the same time. One asking the usual questions the other nodding, smiling etc. when the questioner walks to printer to retrieve our bill, the other asks the exact same questions, scripted 'when can we expect you back?' Etc. Nothing annoys me more than staff that clearly haven't listened to a conversation that they've supposedly been a part of. Frustratingly we couldn't checkout in the lounge, due to the front desk taking a swipe of my card on check-in, a computer says no moment. Overall, not the the usual 5 star standard we've come to expect with the brand. Hopefully our feedback provides a useful learn opportunity.

I became extremely ill from outside food upon immediate arrival to the hotel and the staff went above and beyond to take care of everything I needed including sending people out to get medication and cook special foods etc. They were truly exceptional.

We spent a Lovely stay at Shangri-La New Delhi! In my opinion is the Best choice in New Delhi! From the transfer Airport/Hotel till the check out was perfect! Good Location,very friendly staff( a special Thanks to Sofia!)very good breakfast! Beautiful view and nice swimming pool and very comfortable suite!
