One elevator down out of 2 for my 4 days stay. Had to wait so long for elevator as I was on the 10th floor. The cleanliness of the only elevator was very poor. I waited so long I Had to used stairs from the outside the lobby to the underground parking with my luggage, not the best thing

Very well located. Lovely rooms. Cook to order breakfast and free afternoon drinks were a nice touch, but needed more staff for the busy long weekend
2.0
The room was in poor condition, with multiple issues needing to be addressed by maintenance - a clogged sink and malfunctioning thermostat. The shower dripped all night long. The bathroom is inaccessible from the bedroom unless you jump over a bed. Terrible experience.

It was walking everywhere

We had a wonderful at the Embassy Suite by Hilton. The receptionist was very nice and friendly and the room was clean and neat. It is only two minutes from the basilica in old port and maybe 5 minutes away from Chinatown. We had little kids and had no issue walking around the hotel. We will go back whenever visiting Montreal.

As usual, Embassy Suites in Old Montreal did not disappoint. From the easy and friendly check-in, large and comfortable suite, to it's location just a few block from the waterfront, we had an amazing stay.
6.0
I liked the location of this property. However, the web images showing the room I booked were misleading. It showed a fireplace and jacuzzi in the room but those amenities were not there when we checked in. I alerted the front desk when we first checked in but the receptionist just said we should have focused on the description and not the pictures because the pictures are for marketing. If those amenities are not part of the room then they shouldn't be included in the images for that room because that is misleading and that is bad marketing. They should have offered to change the room or offer something to make it right. The response I got was basically: "Too bad." Other than that incident though, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful overall.
Cleanliness could also be improved. The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly for the next guest.
In terms of pros, the breakfast was good and the hotel's proximity to attractions in Old Montreal was an added feature. That being said, I wouldn't stay here again.

stayed here for 5 days no complaint. The complimentary drinks and breakfast were a nice bonus especially since the breakfast had options. would come back.

Everything you expect in a Embassy Hotel. What I noticed the most was the professionalism of each staff member.

we had an amazing stay and for the price it was pretty good. i think paid 179 for base price with breakfast already. Booked 3 rooms for my family and the suites are spacious and we love the jacuzzi in each room. It was good after a long drive. Although my husband saw a rat on a hallway so I hope that it gets resolved. The faucet in the jacuzzi in 209 and some water pop out of the faucet of the jacuzzi.

Hotel great location with great staff but under renovation and currently a little tired. Beds soft with a lot of street noise into room. Shower way too small for size of suite. Breakfast and happy hour were wonderful with friendly helpful staff. Even with the limitations we had a very good time.

The hotel was in walking distance to old Montreal and plenty of options for dining

This was one of our favorite stays in Canada. The free drinks in the evening and free breakfast did it for us. We were greatly satisfied with the service and the room was clean and accesible.

Nice hotel, lots of room to relax in. I was disappointed they removed all the dishes and cutlery from the room. I booked it specifically for this reason, lunch prep, healthy choices. Otherwise, it’s a great downtown location.

Clean nice suite with kitchen, living room and bedroom. Breakfast included (eggs, cereals, bread, fruit etc) and complimentary drinks during the hotel Happy Hour was very nice. A bit worn down furniture but all in all a good stay for a couple of nights.

This was a pet friendly hotel which we weren’t aware of, in future we will make sure not to book at pet friendly. We entered our room it smelled of animal, i asked if they could switch rooms first they suggested to open windows, I asked for another room which was finally given. The second room was much better, no pet odor. However every time we rode elevator we could smell animals.

Pros:
Evening waitress was very pleasant n helpful
Old mtl and the old port are a few minutes walk away, beautiful lights and friendly people. Worth getting out for an evening walk, many quaint restaurants along the way to chose from
Cons:
Window in suite won’t shut completely
Restaurant is more a cafeteria
During diner someone brought there dog into the dining room for a visit…
Jacuzzi in room non functional
Complementary newspaper not available
Breakfast is cold
If u have a larger véhicule underground parking is tricky. Very tight
Our room was unacceptable, was changed to another (with a surcharge) but with problems as well. The price and pictures definitely do not reflect the actual experience

Great central location and a short walk to old Montreal. The hotel is clean and was quiet during my stay. They also offer a made to order hot breakfast every morning that is included in your stay. I tipped the gentleman making me a fresh omelette daily. They also provide 2 free drink coupons that you can use nightly from 5-7. Great idea to get folks into the restaurant and to socialize. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice spacious apartment.

Staff in reception and also at the restaurant were very helpful and accomodating. The breakfast that is included is good food with an omelette station. We brought our dog - a chill 55 lb labradoodle - and it worked out really well!
