Everything was clean, easy check in, beautiful warm outdoor pool overlooking the water and city. The free breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs, bacon, waffle, etc

There were two false fire alarms. We had to evacuate the building at 2 a.m. Then the alarm went off again around 5 a.m. We make a room reservation with plans to sleep and rest yet we didn't experience that. The staff said they had never experienced it. My three young children were terrified with this experience.

The stay was great. Unhappy with hotels.com. On the fact they misrepresented the hotel. I booked this hotel because they said there was a shuttle to the cruise. The hotel has never had a shuttle.

Great place to stay. Very quiet. Nice scenery. Short walk to restaurants.

I have enjoyed my stay here! It is convenient to the ship port (@ a 15 - 20 min walk along the water). Check out time is 12, which is much better than many hotels. There is nothing around the hotel, so you either have to eat at an expensive restaurant 10 min walk away or cross the Long Beach Bridge, which is a maybe 20 min. walk to get to the touristy shopping area of Long Beach. There's also a pretty walk by the water away from the restaurants (it's hard to describe, but you can look at a map). The hotel was nice. There's a beautiful lap pool outside, but alas, it was too chilly to swim. The breakfast was awesome (could of used some more fresh fruit would be my only complaint). Our TV did not work when we checked in. I called the front desk and it was Immediately taken care of and the people who worked on it were friendly and fun. The other staff that I encountered were helpful. The work out room was ample, but needs a new floor. I def. would recommend this spot if you need somewhere to chill before your cruise. If you're not cruising, I'd recommend the busier side of Long Beach.

Stayed one night pre cruise. Comfortable hotel. Very clean. Great front desk service whether for checkin or questions. Comfy beds. I didn’t use the full kitchen but would be great when staying longer. Walking distance to aquarium, shopping and restaurants. Nice view being it is right by the harbour.

Wonderful stay at the Residence Inn. We had the 2 bedroom suite and it was fantastic. The location is great, easy to get to downtown, but much more peaceful. The staff was great. Super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at this Residence Inn to be close to the cruise dock. It was very close and if they had offered long term parking we could have literally walked to the ship. But still, it was close, clean and includes breakfast.

Some tents were present in the proximity. Some odor(urine) can most likely be eliminated by pressure washing.
Customer service, the room, amenity, breakfast were all excellent. I will definitely consider coming back to this facility.

Arrived at 3:30 pm. Was told that our room would not be available until 4:00pm which is their check in time. We watched as they continued to check in guests after guests. Again , I tried with same outcome. At 4:10. A manager ask us if we need anything. I said. Yes. A room. He said. An Expedia room ? Clearly they treat Expecia clients poorly

Very clean hotel, staff was nice, the free breakfast was a good perk and it’s very convenient to get to the cruise portal. I’d stay here again on my next cruise trip out of Long Beach

I took my wife here to stay in Long Beach for the weekend and we both had a great stay. Thanks Marriott!

I booked for my boyfriend's birthday surprise and we both really enjoyed our room. It was super clean, it had a beautiful view, and had everything we needed. The check in process was super fast and they had great customer service. The $35 dollar parking does seem a little steep BUT the pros outweigh the cons. Would definitely stay again!
