I don’t like the area it is in, but once inside the hotel is very safe.

Had three rooms booked for a two night stay prior to our cruise. The rooms were spacious and clean. Good location. Koby and lounge was a good place to end the day with a beverage.

I was very impressed with the overall appearance of the Hotel. I was kind of skeptical when I drove up because the outside does not match the inside.
When I walk in the lobby it felt and looked like an oasis. The room was very nice and clean. I will definitely be back can’t wait to experience the pool side when it gets warmer.

No gym and this hotel is located too close to a housing neighborhood! Not a bad hotel but, the price doesn’t match the quality although, this is LA! Staff is amazing also!

Love this hotel, but I will not stay on the ground floor again. Too noisy upstairs.

Overall this place is shady, no contact information to see if the guest is coming. No ownership of errors made. Never again will I even look at this hotel on any app. I was charged for a phantom room3 days after my supposed stay

I have stayed her twice now and the staff were so friendly. Having one day off as a healthcare worker I wanted to stay local, I stayed here for my birthday last year and it was a no brainer on where I would stay or a little get away. I love the in-hotel bar and the friendly staff. Although its small and close to a very busy area, it's still a quiet location. I love the fact that I can stay there alone, and I feel safe, between the calls to the room if someone arrives for you for clearance and the fact the door locks at 11pm and only guests with card access can enter.

Beautiful Hotel. The only Problem was the Thermastat did not work so the heat stayed on the whole time , we did advise the The front desk , they came in and looked at it , but it still did not change after he left. It was So So hot in the room, very uncomfortable, but over all the whole staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and Sweet.

Not in the nicest neighborhood. The registration person asked if I felt safe in an "outside room" which was concerning. Went to CVS across the street and the worker told us she had stopped several shoplifters that night alone. It was also very loud, lots of sirens. Otherwise it was clean and the pool looked nice.

We were here for our wedding, the staff were great. Took care of us and made us feel welcome, even threw in a free breakfast for our last day. If we’re ever down there again, we will happily stay there again

really pretty place! Friendly staff. Felt safe. Clean and nice rooms. I’d return in the near future. Love that it’s near Long Beach pike.

The Bar tender / cook was by himself serving a large group. He was overwhelmed and some folks were frustrated by very slow service. He was polite and kept apologizing for the slow service

The outside of the hotel looks bad! I was afraid at first to get out of the Uber, however walking inside the hotel it not bad. The pictures on the website are not how the hotel looks in person.

Hands down the best kept secret in Long Beach. With more attention to additional details ( shower handles were a hot mess and chipped paint was thoughout )easily one of the top 30 hotels in Southern California . At times I thought I was in Maui .

The surrounding areas are
Not very nice but the hotel is clean, room is great and
There are no services. You have to bring in your luggage, no restaurant in the property but plenty around it. We arrived under heavy rains and walking around was not a good thing to do but they helped us by giving us a phone number of an Italian restaurant that delivered a nice dinner.

Very clean, close to port, friendly staff

My name is Charmayne Riley not Nancy this needs to be changed. The property was pleasant not a neighborhood for a woman to walk alone at night the interior was far more pleasing than the out appearance but I like the people and the staff

My bad, I thought I was booking a hotel closer to Central downtown as I was spending a couple of nights before departing on a carnival cruise. Turns out I was quite a bit north of downtown and not in the best of neighborhoods. Hotel was fine, the room was large and clean, but relatively bare.

The Cove was clean. The front desk and all of the staff had amazing customer service.

Great customer service, newly renovate; clean and VERY spacious rooms. I didn't give it a 10 because I thought it was a little overpriced for the area. And I was expecting a full, table service restaurant.

Great for a weekend staycation

Several dozens small little flies in the bathroom/shower area, especially on the ceiling above the shower. Tiny little black dots all over.
Dead spider on bed linen/cover.
And spiders behind night stand.
Window next to door/close to the bed is extremely uncomfortable feeling when in the room. No privacy unless you fully close the window blinds, but then you need to turn on the light 24/7 because it's too dark in the room with the shade drawn.

Great hotel despite the 3-star rating. Looks more like 4-star at an affordable price. Big rooms and bathrooms and very clean.

It was a good and easy check-in process. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. Parking was also easy considering this hotel is practically in the Long Beach area. CVS and Walgreens nearby and not too many homeless or people up too no good.

I love staying at the property. It’s very clean, the rooms are spacious and the property it’s at a pretty good distance from downtown and the convention area. The staff has always been super nice and very helpful.

We were looking to stay near Long Beach convention center but not spend the big bucks. This was the perfect spot. Neighborhood a bit drab but hotel was nice. Seems most of the property is upgraded. A few areas still not up to date but lobby, courtyard and our room was nice. Staff was very pleasant! Front desk and sweet lady that worked in the cafe. Couple things I’d want. Outlet near mirror in the room. Two girls getting ready need more outlets. Also. The whole pay for parking at a hotel. I just feel it’s ridiculous. I’d stay here again if in town.

Great pool area. Food and bar on premises. The staff was very helpful in telling us about local areas to eat and see such as harbor with view of the Queen Mary. Our room had a balcony overlooking pool area. This was a stop over when leaving on a cruise.
