This was a nice surprise. Location had a beautiful view and comfortable rooms. Also had outdoor space for lounging. Would definitely book here again.

Beautiful hotel, my room overlooked the marina and the Queen Mary. Great room too! My only concerns were the noise level due to loud neighbors and the lack of room service because I was there during the week.

Nice hotel, a little dated. Food was great but pricy.

The hotel itself was great! But upon checking out, there was a charge to the restaurant but my boyfriend and I didn't leave the room. I was told it would be cleared, but over a week after checking out (and speaking with staff both in person and on the phone who said it would be handled) I was charged for the restaurant (about $100) as well as the full charge for incidentals so my 2 night stay ended up being $650+. I gave up after being placed on hold or transferred just to play phone tag so it is what it is, I just wish it were handled better. I didn't leave the room because I was recovering from a medical procedure and it's just unfortunate that my experience was great until checking out and being charged so much.

Great location and hotel. Though, they had a boycott protest going on right by the front door so it made my wife and I feel uncomfortable.

We stayed in building 1. The elevator was either a no show or took 10+ minutes to arrive ( there are only 5 floors). Stairs work for me yet not for my husband who is in a wheelchair. After getting settled and crawl into bed at 9pm to roll over and find a lump of hair under the sheets with you. Husbands hair very short blond mine very long gray and purple not jet black. That was gross and took them over 30 minutes to just bring me 2 sheets no pillow cases or anything. Will be talking to manager when we check out. So note to self check under the sheets before you get into bed.

I was expecting a relaxing getaway at a name brand hotel in a beautiful location, and I got five hours of loud, rowdy, pounding rap music directly under my balcony. It was so powerful that my fourth floor walls vibrated and the TV volume turned up all the way couldn’t cover the noise. When I responded via complaint to a text from the front desk asking if I needed anything, I was told the hotel had events going until 11:30 pm. I’m still astounded that a Hilton hotel would put their guests through something like that. I will never return to this property.

Check in was good. Front desk was great. Room wasn’t ready til exactly 4pm so I waited in the restaurant bar area. We straight to the pool. Pool bar was not open and Jacuzzi was dirty. Pool was fine. Room was good. View was great! Furniture was outdated, but not horrible. Dinner was amazing and service was great as well. Overall not bad. Mid week so was slower, but great place and staff.

Awesome hotel with an amazing view of the ocean and Queen Mary

This place is amazing. Excellent service, quiet atmosphere but also a ton of stuff to do. Not a good food selection at the hotel, but do have a shuttle that takes you to a village with multiple restaurants.

We were harassed by security asking us about a dog that was not in our room. Saying someone complained about it and we had just got back to our room from town.

Best customer service. But once 6am hits all you can hear are random doors opening and closing loudly since the layout is open. View was amazing, hot tub was great. Windows weren't clean though and the toilet just kept running. Still would highly recommend and visit in the near future. Everything else was truly a great experience.

This place is perfect for relaxing before a cruise

Nice view but hotel not maintained. Lobby and restaurant have nice aesthetic but rooms don’t match that. Bed squeaking, dust everywhere, hair all over sheets and towels. Room lighting minimal and depressing. Tv not updated. Keurig machine and wall mouldings covered in dust. Spider webs hanging from ceiling. Almost like a motel with a nicer view.

During my stay at the Hotel Maya they had some kind of boycott going on directly in front of the lobby complete with drums and bullhorns boycotting something…..didn’t ask and didn’t really want to know I just wanted my room. This loud commotion went on for hours finally stopping around 6pm and promptly starting again the following morning at 7am….thankfully we had a cruise to catch so we were out of there early. Being private property not really sure why they let it go on and not remove these people or at the very least kick them to the front street entrance. The staff said nothing about it at check in not even an apology or an explanation to what was going on. We have stayed here before and it was a great stay but after this I don’t know if I’ll be back.

Absolutely loved this place. The staff were friendly and the room was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

This hotel is great if you’re going on a cruise. It is right beside the terminal with a free shuttle. The view from the Mayan restaurant is beautiful. The Mayan is overpriced with subpar food, but great service. We had one drink, a quesadilla, guacamole and a horrible entry with 4 shrimp on it and it was $165.00. Breakfast was expensive too.
The property feels worn down and a bit dirty.

Very nice facility. Friendly staffs. We will stay again

Good Customer service
Room cleanliness could use some work
ie: dusting/cobwebs/wiping down surfaces
Food from room services was sub-par and over priced

Great location. Very walkable to area attractions. Fee for parking was the only unanticipated expense. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day!! Staff members were friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay, excellent venue, right next to our Boots in the Park event at Queen Mary...love this place

Pics online looked 1000% better than reality. Had a cheap Tiki feel... definitely not what I was hoping for, for this price point. Could have saved $200 and gotten the same experience. Also, the hot tub was lukewarm. The restaurant was good - but also price inflated. They had a free shuttle to the cruise yard, which was nice, and the staff was friendly.

Beautiful property, sink had a hard time draining. But absolutely beautiful, great service and very comfortable beds.

I loved the hospitality!

I requested the walk out patio and as soon as we opened the door it smelled like mildew so bad! we were in a rush to make it to our dinner reservations and when we got back we were sad because we wanted a walk out patio so we tried leaving the sliding door open and it was still horrible me and my husband got horrible headaches and i started breaking out in hives!
Even the floor boated were squishy and making noise like it was flooded. There was BLACk MOLD on the ceiling in the corner that i didn’t see because the lighting in the room is very low.
I called and asked for another room and they did move me and brought my keys. very inconvenient and we had to move all our stuff again.
That room should be banned!

Nice view of Downtown Long Beach.

This place is amazing though a little worn around the edges. New towels would go a long way. It’s close to everything and right on the water. Staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Strongly recommend

Hotel Maya is well located and has beautiful grounds, but the room we had (3rd floor King with bay/beach views in Bldg 3) was noisy and very dark.
Voices and noise from other guests in the open atrium was easily heard through the heavy but poorly sealed entry door. Flushing sounds from other rooms and objects dropped on the ceiling above were clearly heard and annoying. I am an acoustical engineer and know well that at least installing good doir seals would be a realively easy fix - and one that should be done considering the location, price and and perceived quality of the Hotel Maya.
The main room was also very dark in the afternoon and evening, with no over head light and only lamps on the bedside and near the patio door to light the room. It was hard to see into our bags. The hotel either needs to install overhead lights or higher wattage bulbs in the lamps.

Check in and check out were easy. Our view was really a partial view bc of the side of the wall of the building obscuring part of it. This wasn't shown in he pictures. Cost of parking is double than at the Marriott down the street, so add on another $38/day to the listing price if you have a car. Bed was comfy. Quiet room.

It's been about 14 years since I've stayed at Maya and I had just as great a time now as I did the first time. We enjoyed the meals in Fuego for breakfast and dinner, and sat by the fire pits and enjoyed the wonderful views. Would absolutely stay again!

It was an average hotel. Pictures make it seem nicer, the toilet and ceiling in our room would leak. Not a crazy amount, but enough that it was noticeable. The price for parking is insane, $38 a night.
