We had a wonderful stay! The innkeepers were so friendly and helpful. It was fun to learn the history of the house, especially since the were so into the history. Donnie is an excellent chef and made a wonderful breakfast for us. We were only there for one night since we were visiting our son and he only had one day off. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay for one night, or much longer. Charles Town was a cool place to visit and there are several towns around with fun downtown areas and a lot of historical sites it that is your thing.

Amazing place with incredible history!

We had a nice overnight stay. This was exactly what we were looking for due to it's close proximity to Harpers Ferry and Antietam. The town and the inn were quaint and charming. We didn't spend enough time to fully appreciate the location, but the inn had everything we needed and has been kept up very nicely with some added modern conveniences. Breakfast was good but not great.

Clean rooms for an old historic home. Sheets clean and beds comfortable, old furniture and trappings, rooms have working fireplaces. Staff was courteous, and breakfast was a superb small parfait and a sausage egg and cheese quiche with bacon on the side. Coffee and tea all day. Town a brief walk away. Recommended
