Hotel was centrally located and walking distance to the main train station, shopping malls and plenty of restaurants and bars. There is a breakfast option on site and also a restaurant and convenience store within the same building.
Rooms was small, but cozy and contained all the necessities required. Rooms were cleaned daily and contained all the necessary basic toiletries required i.e. toothbrush, razor, body sponge etc. These items were restocked daily after use and were all free of charge.
Staff was very helpful and courteous.
The only complaint I have is although the my room was non-smoking, there were other rooms on the same floor which were not and you could tell when exiting the elevator on to your floor.

Central Hotel is old european style. They give you an actual key, which must be left at the front desk when exiting the hotel. Last time I saw that was in Tintin books a long time ago.
The staff is very professional, elegant and dignified.
The hotel is mere seconds away from the train station and in the middle of the enterntainment district. Good place to enjoy the dynamic seaside port city with a privateer feel to it.

Staff was very kind and friendly. Food near the hotel was amazing and the mall is directly next to It.

The place looks wonderful until you get to your room. My room look like it was made 30 years ago at least. There is no way to control the temperature. The bed was too firm. the pillows were too soft. Needless to say that I didn’t sleep well.
Wifi would not connect.
The fridge was a nice size but The microwave oven was ancient.
Had a great view out my window. Very green.
The washlet was like 40 years old I think.
Staff were really nice.
But after all the negatives, I was a 3 min walk from the station to the hotel. And a 3 minute walk to the Yokosuka tower Clinic. That is why I chose it.

We requested a non-smoking room, but anytime we used the A/C, it pumped the smell of smoke into our room. The A/C was not adequate, the room was never a comfortable temperature (unless we opened the windows). There were bugs in the bathroom that appeared to be attracted to the moisture because they re-appeared each morning on the shower curtain. The desk chair was tattered and functionally broken and therefore useless to us. The T.V. was tiny, which is worth mentioning only because it was shockingly small (smaller than an average office computer monitor) and I saw no mention of that in other reviews or in the photos. The hotel does not operate on electronic key cards, and the hotel's policy requires guests to turn in their room key to the front desk anytime they leave the hotel. This was a minor annoyance when in a hurry because the front desk is a bit of a detour from the hotel exit. Most of the lights worked (the reading light for one of the beds did not work). There was a "laundry corner" that we utilized. The washing machine does not clean clothes well and the driers need maintenance so they quit after 30 minutes (it takes approx 3 hours to dry an average load, so this is a significant thing to take note of). One positive note, Central Hotel provided all the toiletries one could ask for, a robe, and slippers. The hotel is conveniently located outside Yokosuka-chūō station, which means it's also close to lots of restaurants and shopping. internet slow in the evening

Room was just too small, but that is to be expected of Japanese hotels. No free parking, a few crawlers in the shower. Was over it the first day I checked in.

Honestly it’s a great hotel. The front desk is externally nice Japan’s customer service is always amazing. There’s usually always one person at the counter who is bilingual and can speak English which helps for my very limited broken Japanese. Everything is sanitized as well to prevent. 10/10 hotel and experience in my book.

Unable to use the TV and it needs to be a fan in the room.

Terrible hotel. Area sucks and the building is outdated. You have to take your keys to the front desk every time you leave the hotel .

Perfect location near train station, restaurants, and mall. Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom. Fast check in and check out!

The hotel room was small but manageable. Also there was no control over the AC/heat so the room was really stuffy. The breakfast was terrible—do not purchase it!

Location was perfect, about 1 block to train station, and close to Yokosuka Naval Base but better stores and restaurants nearby, I believe only a block from large mall too on other side of tracks.

Centrally located to shopping, restaurants, and train. I had a non-smoking room but rooms around me were smoking and at times I could smell the smoke which was not good.
