Good hotel a few miles from downtown Natchitoches.

Very clean, beds were comfortable too!

Tried checking in and was told the remaining rooms were not clean because they did not have housekeeping. We had booked the room in advance at a great rate but had to go to the Hampton and pay almost double for a room. The manager Jeremy Wilson was not taking any phone calls and left the poor girl at the front desk to deal with the guest. We are Bonvoy members and have never been to such a poor Marriott hotel.

Guy at the front desk at first was not friendly at all until someone else to talk to him. First room a/c didn't work, there was wood pieces on the floor by the a/c. Carpet not vacuum very good. No syrup for the pancakes at breakfast. Won't stay at this hotel again if visiting this area in the future. The lady on the second shift was very helpful & got us in a new room.

The property is clean. The hotel is clean. The room was clean. Maybe I just caught it on a bad day. It was busy weekend for the hotel but our towels smelled.

The outside appearance. The ease of checking in. The room environment was well coordinate.

The staff were very nice and welcoming, which is very much appreciated after a long day of traveling.

When I checked in they gave me a key to a king room. I went back to the desk to switch to a double as I had reserved only to find out that the had given me someone else's room with a similar name. Also, the front desk informed me at that time that they had cancelled my reservation. Luckily, while we were scrambling to find lodging last minute, due to another hotel error, a different client had been given the wrong room too (the double we needed). We were able to get put in that room. I confirmed at that time that it was available for 2 nights as I had reserved. The next day at dinner, I got an email from the hotel with a receipt for my stay noting a check out time for earlier that day. I left dinner to handle yet another issue with my stay there. Upon arrival I was told the computers were down and the clerk could not get management by phone. The room keys we were issued no longer worked and my personal items were held hostage in the room we were CONFIRMED to have for that night. Finally, another employee arrived and the clerk was able to open the so that we could gather our things. The clerk said if we could wait until computer issues resolved, we MIGHT have a room available that night. We were not interested in one more moment there. I will never stay at you establishment again.

Good Stay

Uncomfortable bed. Mold in shower.

I was moved to another room because the first room was dirty and the air conditioner would not work. The entire hotel needs a good cleaning. It was my first time at a fair field and also my last

Location was good, breakfast was delicious, staff was polite but our shower did not work and we did not know that until the morning. I feel like we are due some type of knock off on the room since the shower did not work. Their management should make some type of compensation for this big of an inconvenience! We were told since we rented through Expedia, you would have to request the break on the room for the inconvenience!!!

Great for a one-night stay while in the area for personal business. Ms Gwen that checked us in was so professional & kind! Helped us find a dinner spot in Natchitoches, which was really good!

It was close to the hiway and The French Market! Lobby was nice, staff were as well. Rooms are updated and clean, comfortable.

Overall was a good stay. The ladies at the front desk are really professional. even though it may seem that they are not, trust me Ashley and the crew are exceptional. Only complaint is the room i was in was next to the kitchen area where they prepare breakfast so was a lil noisy in the morning

We checked in after 5:30pm to be told that our room isn’t ready and there’s no ETA. Keep in mind check in is for 3. We waited for an hour, still no call. When I went back in to get a status update, we were told that the particular room we selected isn’t available at all today and all of the queen rooms were full. So we booked a reservation based on false information provided. We had no choice to find somewhere else to stay. Overall I’m disappointed but the service representative did do her job to the best of her capability.

It would’ve been nice to know that a field next to the property was being burned. I was informed on check in trees were being burned and people were complaining of smoke. I checked in late so my room was in the side with the smoke. It was so strong I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t wait to check out. None of this was the hotels fault but just be aware before you book.

Overall the stay was ok. The bedding was not clean on one of the beds. We had to ask for new comforter and sheets as there were stains (recent looking) on the comforter.

Overall a great hotel to stay

Upon entering the room our initial inspection we found used condom including the wrapper on the floor by the desk Sheets didn’t appear to be changed. And the TV did not work and had to be replaced Waited 2 hours for all these issues to be addressed and still paid full rate for the room stay

There needs to be a door between lobby and first floor rooms because it was so loud past 10 p.m. that I was tempted to call the police. A call to the front desk just reduced the noise to a roar.

Friendly greeting upon arrival. Checkin was easy. Newer hotel. Lobby and breakfast area were large. Breakfast was good. Hot entrees are always welcomed. We got there 25 minutes before breakfast ended and there was still hot food available which is not the case with most hotels serving a complimentary breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

the property itself was nice and clean. the freezer part of the little refrigerator did not work well. the bed was comfortable, but the noise up one floor very loud. I'll stay there again because of the staff. Never before in any hotel have I experienced such nice and hardworking staff.

Close to interstate and close to town

Nice property, friendly staff. Only complaint is shower water was not hot.

Fairfield by Marriott Natchitoches We were traveling from Violet, LA for a graduation. I called and spoke with Michelle on December 13th about an early check in since we were traveling to beat the bad weather and get ready for the graduation that was later on that day. She informed me that she will make a note to the account. When we arrived to the hotel Tiffany was the front desk clerk, I informed her that we were supposed to have an early check in. First she told me my room was not paid for and that she did not see anything in the system, then all of a sudden after I informed her it was paid when book and had a confirmation she then found my reservation. Then she tells me oh we don’t have a room available at this time. She said that the hotel was fully booked the night before and did not have anything at the moment. She said she may have something after 12:00 pm and to come back and check. We came back to the hotel at 1:00 pm and she said oh I’m sorry I still don’t have anything. Fast forward to us getting ready in the lobby bathroom so we can make graduation. We checked in at 5:52 pm to come to a room that was dirty. The microwave was filthy and no counters were cleaned. The front desk clerk came to clean the microwave and I showed her the towel that was used when I cleaned the counters. Tiffany was not accommodating and wasn’t pleasure. Michelle was so helpful and tried to make the best of our night.
