Liked the convenience and location. Room nicely cleaned and serviced. Staff excellent, especially Luigi at Reception who helped us. Breakfast was acceptable but we really appreciated the provision of yoghurt and boiled eggs.
No laundry in the neighborhood other than the super expensive hotel service.

Spent 2 nights here as part of a southern Italy tour. Public areas of the hotel are smart and welcoming. The reception and breakfast staff were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast was good continental fare.
My room was slightly disappointing. It felt a little unloved, with old fashioned furniture and some shabby fittings. My single, spring-frame bed and soft mattress felt like the one i used to have in the 1960s!! Finally, not sure why but for first 24 hours i had only cold water. Then just after returning from a day out it miraculously started running hot, as if someone had just remembered to put money in the gas meter. I probably was just unlucky and certainly would not advise against this hotel as a pleasant convenient base for a Taranto visit.
