The rooms are big, clean and comfortable.
The facilities are well maintained as demonstrated by the daily cleaning of the staff who are helpful and courteous. The resort offers indoors and outdoor activities for all ages.
Location is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The resort was full but did not feel crowded.
Looking forward to trying the cottages next time.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property is stunning, impeccably maintained, and truly one of the cleanest resorts we’ve visited. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people.
This is a family-run resort, and you can feel the pride and care that goes into every detail. The owner is incredibly involved and adds such a personal touch to the experience. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
It’s rare to find a place that combines beautiful accommodations with such genuine hospitality. We left feeling relaxed, appreciated, and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

Paul and Adrienne are amazing! Very welcoming. We felt like we were seeing old friends instead of being just a guest like some other places. Their staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and very well done. Our room had everything we needed. Lake George is close by but far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle. Plus there is a private beach for the property. Lots of seating so that you can take in the breathtaking views of the lake. We decided that next time we visit we want to stay in one of the adorable-very well done- cabins. We absolutely recommend The Stone Gate Resort for your trip to Lake George.
