A very comfortable, bright and generally clean apartment. Easy to access and the apartment was well furnished and equipped for all our needs. The location was great for Edinburgh old town, shops, restaurants and theatre. It felt like a very safe area .Video to explain how best to access the apartment and its facilities was very helpful.
Entry lobby to the building was dark (no lights at all ) dangerous and dirty. Plaster was falling off the interior wall and it didn't look like the entrance area was ever cleaned. It gave a very poor first impression of the apartment.
Shower was in need of updating- mould, limescale and mildew on the shower tray and doors . Could be easily removed and would also improve the overall appearance of the apartment.
The oven in the kitchen didn't work.We didn't intend to cook much which turned out to be lucky!

Location and the toilet was separate from the bathroom
The towels looked dirty white. The throw pillows were old and looked dirty. The lights were flickering . It was so dark at night to even see the keyhole to the door, there should be a light at least at the door. These may seem minor things but cleanliness is very important.
