Wish the place had a few more accommodations. For example: salt, extra trash bags, hand/face towels. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

I broght my Wife to property and towels were not available. When we arrived I notified Adrian and he priceded to argue with me about my towel situation. His staff did not drop towels off until after 630 PM ! The property also needed toilet paper and new batteries for remote. I had to purchase the the store because i didn't want to bother ore argue with Adrian. I would like a refund or some type of credit for one day for ruining my Anniversary becuse of the the rhings that weren't supplied.

There were no towels. We had to use paper towels to dry off after showering. Our socks had hair on them from the floor. Unable to reach anyone since it was a VRBO thru Expedia.

This cabin was so cozy and perfect for a getaway at Big Bear! The cabin was well cleaned and maintained. The fireplace and jacuzzi were the highlights. We love that it is also pet friendly so we could bring our dog! Highly recommend this cabin, we hope to be back soon!

I felt safe, it was a great value, the cabin was set up very nicely. My hosts were so gracious with communicating and checkin!
My only feedback is that the coffee filter was full of old grounds and it seemed a little dirty. The bed spread also felt sandy, and there was a spider and web in the shower between the soap dispensers.
Overall that didn’t affect my enjoying my stay.
Thank you!

I had a great stay, everything worked fine, bed was very comfortable, and kitchen was adequate and supplied with everything I needed, it was missing a frying pan, so I just e-mailed Adrian and I had one in 20 minutes, I have been in Real Estate for 16 years and know a lot about short term rentals and someone before me probably just took it, it happens all the time! That was the only issue I had and that is a real minor one. In my experience Adrian's communications with me were 5 Star and lack of communication is my biggest pet peeve. Also, Cabin #8 was one of several that had a huge, covered porch that kept me dry as I watched Tropical Hillary roar by and did some writing and reading. The cabin was very clean and the smell of cleaning chemicals was only faint, as it should be. Remember these are small cabins, it's not the Hilton, but it would be great for a romantic getaway, fisherman, skier or just to get away for a while and enjoy the fresh air. Plus, Big Bear town Center is super close.
I will definitely stay there again.

This property is super cute and could be even better with just a few small refurbishments. The cabin itself was ok. Could have definitely been cleaner and as mentioned in several reviews, the screens/windows were all a bit wonky. The biggest issue for us was it is advertised as a cabin with air conditioning and it most definitely does NOT have an AC. When I contacted the host, we were told there should be an on/off switch under the thermostat, but when I explained that there wasn't, we were told there should be a window AC in the unit- there most definitely was not. I had specifically chosen a cabin with AC and felt like this was false advertising. The cabin and the property are super cute and really could be a great stay with just some minor improvements and upgrades. Overall it was fine for the quick weekend getaway we used it for.

The property was advertised to have air conditioning, it did not and when trying to reach property management there was no response in the midst of the summer. The cabin was unclean and I had to fix the toilet tank after each use. When the toilet ran, it leaked all over the floor. The curtains are frayed and there were no towels for the shower and no place in town that sold them. We will never stay here again. All the other cabins in the manor had air conditioning and seemed to have been remodeled over time, this one has not.

Excellent location and very easy to access everything in town.

The space was exactly as expected. Perfect for what we needed. There was a strong odor when we entered. Cleaning supply and old building combination. We tried to open the windows to air it out. We found that none of the windows were able to stay open or be locked shut. Anyone could open them from the outside. One of the window panes was the wrong size completely for its rails. We we’re uncomfortable leaving our things in the room to go out.

My wife and I had a great stay here in the snow. It's a rustic older cabin but this place has everything you could want in a simple package. Close to things, private, great price, everything worked and cozy. Management responds super quick if you have questions. Nice little carport cover for your car. Even had firewood for the fireplace. Couldn't be more romantic!

The place was nice. the fridge did not work. luckily, I saw this in a review previous to our stay so I made sure we had an ice chest just incase this was still the situation. There could have been better tools, and a bellow supplied for the fire place all they had was 3 pokers for tools, but was able to manage. The water heater worked great, very hot water. although it did seem to be on the smaller side. It would reheat fairly fast. Being creative and thinking outside of the box a little, none of this was a major inconvenience for us. would have been nice, but not a deal breaker. I would gladly stay here again on future visits to big bear.

When we opened the door there was such strong, horrible, toxic odor and fumes due to cleaning sprays/ liquids/ materials that we couldn't even breath. Obviously the cleaning crew had just left there with such a strong smell. There's no way i let myself and my daughter risk our health in that tiny place that we couldn't even leave the door open due to the cold and winter storm.
On the other hand the only couch that was supposed to be there like in the picture so we can sit on it , was outside, wet, and full of pet's hair.
There was also two big mistakes on my bank statements they charged twice for the deposit meaning two $100 charges on top of what was supposed to be my initial charges and then twice for the whole overpriced charges.
I'm telling you a big mess, horrible experience and disappointment overload.
I emailed the person whom was sending me emails and told her there's no way I'm staying in this place and thank God there was a different place close by i got lucky i could book a beautiful cabin right there and then with that place.
So I'm definitely disputing this transaction and complain every way possible to get my money back and so they learn not to mess with people's plans and money like this.

I have not been able to reach the owners of the property I stayed at on 12/30. The property was not ready for us to stay in and hadn’t been cleaned. I emailed and called them multiple times but no response. This is what I emailed them.
Hello again,
We are hesitant to leave a review as we were dissatisfied. There were quite a few problems and if we could have found other accommodations (everything was booked) we would of worked on getting a full refund from you. The cabin was not even worth half the money we paid for the night. It was bad!
1. The place had not been cleaned between guests. This was confirmed by the cleaners that there was no cleaning scheduled for cabin 8. So upon our arrival at 6pm & after driving for hours, we had to pack up and leave the house so the cleaner could come. Not ideal at all! If we had not brought the stench up to the front office we could have slept in dirty sheets and put ourselves at risk for illness from the previous guests.
2. The place smelled SO STRONGLY of OLD smoke (The “clean sheets” even smelled of smoke while we slept!) And then we smelled something sour and the refrigerator had a foul smell upon opening. We bought groceries that needed to be stored and couldn’t put them in the refrigerator and most of our food went bad and had to be thrown away.
3. We brought firewood and were excited to use the hot tub and fireplace- half of the door for fireplace was missing. We were not going to risk more smoke smell/smoke inhalation in the place and the possibility of embers coming out and starting a fire.
4. We made multiple attempts to contact you when we checked in and beyond with no success. We had hoped to discuss these issues with you personally to find an acceptable resolution sooner.
We would like to ask for a partial or full refund. We need to come to some resolution here. Thank you for your time.

Easy to park, quiet after 9pm, quick response from the management but the bathroom was dirty and dusty. The smoke alarm light (?) was blinking all night. The fare price for a night.

Spent our 15th Anniversary in Big Bear and this place was perfect. Cute little cabin made for two. Had a minor issue with an electrical outlet during our stay and Adrian had someone out to fix it that day. Great place, great host. Would definitely recommend for an anniversary or a couples get away.
