We had dinner at the restaurant which was fantastic even though they had staffing issue. The English gents (I apologise for not remembering their names) were brilliant to accommodating everyone in the restaurant. Breakfast was brilliant, great food. We Loved and will have to go back.

Loved this hotel. The location, the staff, the warm welcome. Bedroom was beautiful. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Being able to walk out the door and walk around the village was great. Vezelay was just so beautiful.

Fantastic location and very friendly People. We had a lovely meal here and the breakfast was great, they made us scrambled eggs. Prime location, great view from the cosy but comfortable room. Would visit again!

Hard to reach by car which is a positieve point as well

Beautiful location and access to lovely restaurant below and terrace for beers. Had some Jazz band on who were great. All in all you couldn't feel more immersed in the lovely surroundings. Room looked out over the square - idyllic!

The hotel is steps away from the Basilica .

The check-in was a terrible experience . when we arrived at approx. 4 p.m. there was no obvious way into the hotel. The hotel has no reception area and no one answered the bell where it said Hotel entrance. After hopping over a chain and entering through the bar area , eventually a staff member appeared. He was unapologetic about the lack of welcome and rude and condescending. We were never asked for our passport or passe sanitarie. After being shown to our room, we learned that you enter and leave the hotel via a shabby little exit at the side of the building. You never feel that you are in a hotel. It was a strange experience in a strange hotel.

Right opposite the cathedral. The room was fine. The restaurant was very good - large portions and excellent local beer. Breakfast was fabulous with freshly squeezed orange juice, ham, hard boiled eggs, local cheeses, brilliant croissants and lovely crusty bread. Also yoghurts, fruit, coffee - great!

The bathroom arrangement was unusual
