Waiting for a full refund

Very bad experience

We booked months in advance and told the owner we would be arriving between 23h and 00h to which we were told there was no problem as Virgina would be at our disposition to hand us the keys. Instead we received a text message with instructions that we followed upon arrival but the key was nowhere to be found. It was my birthday at midnight and we spent hours outside as we were not offered any solution. Finally Virginia arrived after 2am and gave us an alternative studio next door. Our night was ruined, we couldn't celebrate and we where so tired that we just slept when we were finally let in. To our surprise, next morning we were woken up by people inside the studio shouting at us, insulting us, calling us squatters and traspassers. We were very badly mistreated and were quicked out from the studio. When we called Virgina she said she had spoken with the owner and we were allowed to stay. She spoke with the people that had kicked us out and they said they that they would give us the studio back after 10 minutes. When we finally got the place back, we got ready and got out for the day. Once we were almost at the beach we got a text message from Virgina saying we needed to get out of the studio and that someone was coming to check that we were not still there. She didn't pick up the phone after, didn't offer solutions or explanations. She just said we would get a full refund but it was not her problem anymore. We ended having to book a 5 times more expensive last minute hotel so we wouldn't sleep on the street. In the end we lost all our first night and half a day of my birthday in between being locked out and being kicked out of the space several times. To this moment there has not been any contact, apologies, refund or compensation from anyone from the studio or booking.

Organisation chaotique
